We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Assistant to join Nethergate Academy and work as part of the team supporting pupils’ educational and healthcare needs.
The academy works with children and young people who have learning difficulties and complex needs and their families.
Nethergate Academy is a special academy in the City of Nottingham for 173 pupils with moderate and complex learning difficulties. The age range is from 5-19 years with a wide range of ability. Many pupils have autism and some have SEMH needs.
You will be required to help with the organising and running of intervention groups across the academy.

We are seeking to appoint a part time Learning Support Assistant to support one of our wonderful pupils in the Upper School, working under the Head of Learning Support.
The successful candidate must have experience of working with children with special educational needs, and must possess excellent organisational and commuication skills. You must also have a proven record of building strong relationship with children and colleagues alike.
This is a fixed term contract starting ASAP until 31st March 2025, with the possibility of renewing the contract annually.

Do you have experience of working with young people aged 3 – 11 / 11 – 18?
Are you an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant looking to join a warm and welcoming school?
You will have a talent for engaging children and will be required to work flexibly across all age groups and abilities.
Your role will support the work of our teachers. The role will vary from day to day and will include working in 1:1 situations, covering small groups and providing general classroom support.
Working with children who have varying needs, from SEN needs to behavioural and emotional needs, you will encourage the acceptance and inclusion of all children and assist with their personal care.
There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning.
This is a temporary full time role starting from as soon as possible. You will be working for 32.5 hours per week, term time only.

Learning Support Assistant| Nottingham - NG16 | £90 - £105 Per Day | ASAP Start | Long Term Role

Supportive SLT | Immediate Start | 1:1 SEN Experience

We are looking for a learning support assistant that has previous experience working with primary age students. Your role will mostly consist of providing 1:1 support to students that struggle with academic achievement within a mainstream classroom. Working with SEND students mean that you will form strong bonds with some amazing young learners and every day will be exciting.

Our fantastic partner school is based in NG16 and is well connected to the local area making for a smooth commute via public transport. The school is committed to the best education they can provide daily with a knowledge-centric attitude to learning. This is a full-time role available to start immediately, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be:
- Have previous experience working with moderately SEN students in UK schools.
- Comfortable working in both 1:1 and group environments.

- Enthusiastic about working with SEND students in an educational setting.
