About the role
We are looking to appoint a creative, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the SEND Department. The successful candidate would be expected to have the knowledge and skills to support students with a variety of specific needs, including the delivery of targeted intervention outside of the classroom. What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a caring; enthusiastic and pro-active person to provide support to a number of students with special educational needs.

The role will involve classroom support. The ability to empathise with students and understand their needs is essential. This is a busy and varied role; the ideal person will have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a friendly and supportive team.

Candidates should have experience of working in a school environment; experience with autistic students would be advantageous. Candidates should have a good standard of education, with a grade C/level 4 or above in GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths.

About the role
We are looking to appoint a creative, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join the SEND Department in the secondary phase of Aylesbury Vale Academy. The role will interact with the Scanning Centre Operations, Electronic Script Processing, Reconciliation, and Technology departments.

Activities:
Delivery of live, limited live and pilot projects to include;
Preparation, delivery, and review of work instructions
Pre-live testing
Handling and preparation of secure materials
Data receipt, conversion, upload, checking and exporting
Daily monitoring of series as required
Undertake issue management and documentation as required
Reporting as required
