We seek experienced learning disability/mental health nurse with extensive background in children’s community/respite services, Band 7 level or above. The Matron will provide senior clinical and operational leadership and supervision for the children’s community learning disability team, children’s IST and respite services to drive continually improving and high standards of clinical care. An opportunity has arisen in the Community Physiotherapy to offer you a post within the service. You will work as an integral part of a friendly Community Physiotherapy team, supporting registered staff to provide value based intervention.

The Adult Community Physiotherapy Service is a dynamic and rapidly developing service treating patients in their own homes and at Newfield House.

This is an ideal opportunity to work in a supportive environment within a team of experienced physiotherapists and assistant practitioners delivering high quality physiotherapy to Coventry patients in their own homes.

We are committed to providing clinical supervision and supporting continuing professional development. As part of this role the post holder will be expected to work towards a set of clinical competencies with direct supervision, training and support.

You must have a relevant NVQ level 3, or an NVQ level 2 with extensive applicable experience and knowledge. Experience of working in a rehabilitation setting is desirable, with awareness and understanding of the role of the Physiotherapist. You should be able to display sound communication and practical skills

Should you be successful in your application and commence employment prior to the transfer, your contract of employment (that is your terms and conditions of service as at the point of transfer) will automatically transfer to the new organisation, under the "Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006" (TUPE) as amended by the "Collective Redundancies and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (Amendment) Regulations 2014".
