We are looking for an excellent teacher and an inspiring leader to join us in the role of Principal Teacher. This role has a 0.8 teaching commitment along with 0.2 management time.
Next session the post holder will have a Primary 1/2 class. The current management remit of the role is leadership of the Nursery but this is open to negotiation around the best use of the combined management skill set.
St. Madoes is a lovely school, situated on the Carse of Gowrie around 10 minutes outside of Perth and 20 minutes outside of Dundee.
We have 5 composite classes and a Nursery. We have excellent grounds and opportunities for outdoor learning. We have strong relationships with families and the community and pride ourselves on being nurturing and supportive to all.

The Individual
The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher who has taught a range of stages across the school including, if possible, composite classes.
The successful candidate needs to be flexible, personable and able to adapt to and lead change.
Ideally you should have a love of play and experience in developing play pedagogy and leading high quality, creative and engaging learning and teaching.
