About the Department
This instructor is part of the Beaumont American Heart Association Training Center and will teach Advanced Cardiac Life Support classes to team members. Current ACLS/PALS instructor who will fill open teaching sessions for mandatory classes as needed. Audience includes physicians, nurses, support staff. Will be one of the pool of casual instructors that is used to train Beaumont employees in mandatory classes.

Scope of work
Instruct and certify qualified healthcare providers in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association (AHA).Assesses internal referrals and may provide individual, short-term therapy services or care management services and monitors patient progress.
- Instruction of course content as designed by AHA.
- Evaluation of skills based on criteria standard of AHA courses.
- Remediation of students based on process outlined by AHA.

Qualifications
- Required High School Diploma
- Health care provider/Direct patient care experience. Required
- Adv Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor (ACLS INSTR) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
- Pediatric Adv Life Support Instructor (PALS INSTR) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
