About the role

We require an experienced and qualified teacher who has the ability to make a significant contribution to our school. We are particularly looking for candidates with the experience to take on responsibility for Literacy in the whole School.

You will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils’ achievement and ability to develop. Roles & Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement daily and weekly lesson plans based on our curriculum, ensuring a balanced approach to learning.
• Create stimulating learning experiences both indoors and outdoors.

Child Supervision & Safety

• Monitor the children's interactions, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and maintain an understanding of children's medical and dietary needs.

Parental Communication

• Foster open communication with parents, sharing daily updates, milestones, and areas for development.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide periodic progress reports.

Classroom Management

• Organize and maintain a clean and tidy classroom that caters to children's safety and their educational needs.
• Effectively manage children's behavior using positive disciplinary techniques.

Continuous Development & Collaboration

• Attend and participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to create a cohesive and dynamic learning environment.
