Manchester Adult Education is experiencing significant growth, creating exciting opportunities within our Vocational and Employer Responsive team. We are seeking passionate industry experts to join us on a part-time basis initially. As our service expands, there is potential for increased hours.
You will play a crucial role in planning, delivering, and assessing apprenticeship standards in: Level 3 Business Administration.

Developing and delivering high-quality training and assessment
Providing mentorship and guidance to apprentices
Collaborating with employers to ensure apprentices succeed
Maintaining accurate learner records and assessment documentation
To be successful in this role, you will possess: A deep understanding of relevant apprenticeship standards/EPA processes
Proven experience in teaching or training within your industry Recent experience of delivering Apprenticeship
Strong assessment and feedback skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

As an Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor you should: Hold a teaching qualification (essential)
Hold a degree and/or a level 3 vocationally related qualification in the subject area (essential)

Recent experience of delivering Apprenticeship (essential)
Recent experience of End Point assessment (EPA) and verification processes for apprenticeship standards (essential)
Knowledge and experience of the use and development of e-learning portfolios (essential)
Knowledge and experience of the use and development of learning technologies, including familiarity with Virtual Learning Environment systems, preferably Google Classroom or willingness to learn (desirable)
You should be able to demonstrate: Knowledge of the Apprenticeship process, including mentoring and working with employers
Knowledge of e-portfolios and End Point assessments
Professional and academic competence/qualifications to teach on the qualifications.
Experience of adopting a range of teaching and learning strategies
Use of e-learning platforms such as Equal, google classroom and others or the willingness to learn
Key Accountabilities: To deliver teaching and learning to at least a consistently good or outstanding standard
To assess accurately learners work, both formative and summative, against appropriate apprenticeship standards to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
To support learners to meet the apprenticeship standards through portfolio evidence and assessing in the workplace, including maintaining candidate records, performing work-based observations and providing supportive feedback.
To support learners and employers in meetings to ensure timely completion or work and high standards are met at all times
To conduct skill interviews with learner and employers to identify gaps
To teach online lessons (where appropriate) as well as teaching in our centres across the city as needed, this may involve the occasional evening class
To take course leadership responsibilities
To take part in team meetings and working groups
To comply with the services quality assurance procedures
To comply with the services policies and procedures
To take personal and professional responsibility for keeping up to-date in the subject area.
