Source training venues; act as a single point of contact for the Training Hub and respond to enquiries. Collate relevant data and information. Maintain up to date training plans, reports and records. Manage invoice flow from receipt to payment, maintaining records and ensuring that invoices are processed accurately and on time. Planning and Organising Work within the limits of own competence and responsibility and refer issues beyond these limits to relevant people. Use and maintain resources efficiently and effectively. Prioritise own workload and organise own work to meet these priorities and reduce risks to quality. Maintain a safe and tidy working environment. People and Resources Support colleagues to help meet work demands and ensure training hub work is being completed Identify, with the help of others, tasks required within own job role. Recognise areas of self-improvement and seek support to develop. Undertake mandatory/statutory training as and when required by GPN policy. The Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) are part of an exciting new project funded by NHS England, Health Education England, with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people and families, and schools in the community. This opportunity allows you to join an innovative new service during an exciting time whilst working alongside an enthusiastic, compassionate and inspiring team! The role offers an exciting opportunity to continue to innovate and deliver high quality evidence-based care and whole system interventions, with great ongoing CPD opportunities. All applicants must demonstrate in their application the ability to work at degree level or have an equivalent level of relevant experience. Experience of working with children and young people and an understanding of the educational system in England is highly desirable. The training programme for this post starts in September 2024, is 12 months in duration and will consist of academic and supervised practice learning across mental health services and educational settings. During training, the post-holder will work under supervision to enable them to gain the level of competence required to deliver high-quality, evidence-based early interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems.

With the role involving working with children and young people in their school setting, you will ideally have had experience of working with children and young people in a healthcare or education setting. The role involves working with school staff in order to support the mental health of children and young people, as well as liaising with a wide variety of agencies and stakeholders.To succeed in this role you will need to be self-motivated and a team player. As well as holding an Educational Mental Health Practitioner qualification, you will also have experience of working with children and young people and their families.
