We are seeking to recruit a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our Later Life and Memory Service. We are a forward thinking, friendly and busy team aiming for high quality service provision. We are nationally accredited by MSNAP (Memory service accreditation).

We would like you to have some demonstrable experience of working within mental health setting and / or with adults with a dementia diagnosis and be keen to develop your professional skills in this clinical area.

As a community based practitioner you will work with some autonomy. Support and supervision will be provided by the team and Occupational Therapy colleagues as required. We already have two Band 6 Occupational Therapists within the team .

Your main role will be completing OT functional assessments within the Memory Assessment role of our service. As an integral part of the wide team there will be a requirement to complete some generic mental health assessments and interventions.
