Your Responsibilities
Reporting into Owner Experience Team Manager, a typical day will see you:
• Responding to a holidaymaker and owner issues through multiple communication channels within agreed service level targets
• Ensuring issues are brought to a resolution that satisfies both our holidaymakers and our owners.

We are delighted to be offering an exciting opportunity to recruit to the Clinical Nurse Specialist role for Frailty and Older People within the Acute and Emergency care group.

This is a senior band 7 post working at the front door with the Acute Care of the Elderly medical teams and front door therapy teams to holistically assess the older frail patient using their knowledge of Clinical Frailty Scoring and acute care needs to ensure the correct clinical pathways are applied to achieve the best outcomes for this patient group.

You must be passionate about older peoples care and demonstrate a commitment to ensuring a positive journey is achieved by using your specialist knowledge and skills to establish the correct pathway either back out to the community or within acute care where indicated. Avoiding hospital admissions and reducing length of stays is an integral part of this role and your specialist assessment and follow up of the patient’s care will demonstrate the key performance indicators of this role.

You will be expected to work both autonomously and within a team and achieve your Non-medical Nurse prescriber qualification for which you can expect to be fully supported. This role will form part of the foundation for a further career pathway in older people’s services as the care group explore Advanced nurse practitioner nursing roles for the future.

Working within the Integrated Services for Older Peoples and Acute care of the Elderly (ISOP/ACE) Team, you will be responsible for delivering effective comprehensive assessment and management of a designated cohort of complex frail and vulnerable older adults in our acute care services (specifically in the Emergency Department and on the Older Peoples Assessment and Liaison and Frailty Units.

About the role:

This role is home-based and is open to applicants living in Cornwall. Regular travel will be required both to our office in Plymouth & throughout Cornwall, with occasional travel to Devon. We are looking for an Optical Receptionist to work between our Callington and Saltash practices. This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Saturday with a half day off during the week). Practice opening hours are 9 to 5.30 Monday to Friday and 9 to 12.30 on Saturday. No Bank holiday working.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We require an Educational Support Officer to play an active part in ensuring that the College’s outcomes for students, including high need SEN and behaviour students, are achieved. In order to support and facilitate the wellbeing and progress for identified students, this role will include working directly with pupils in the classroom or on a one-to-one or small-group basis.

You will be an active and resourceful part of an Educational Support team that delivers responsive and effective support to students, with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with students and parents/carers and to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside school. You should have good literacy, numeracy and interpersonal skills, evidence of effective working with young people and high expectations for pupils' achievements.

This is a full-time, term time only position, with INSET training days and an additional seven days to be worked throughout the year. These seven days will be used for working during the summer holidays for Summer School, Stepping Stones Day and after school for Subject Review, learning events, evening meetings and additional administration time.

The hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday, to be worked between 8.15am and 4.30pm, on a rota basis, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day. Join our dynamic team at the brand-new STEM & Health Skills Centre in Bodmin, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional administrative support to staff, while supporting students, and providing an excellent experience for visitors. As the STEM & Health Skills Centre Administrator, you will be instrumental in managing critical college data functions, ensuring the smooth running of operations across the STEM & Health programme areas delivered at the campus.
In this role, you will provide professional and efficient administrative services, including timetabling support, register modifications, student enrolments, and validation of recorded information. You will also assist Programme Team Administrators (PTAs) and contribute to secretarial duties, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the teams.
A key part of your role will be creating a welcoming environment for students and visitors. As the first point of contact, you'll manage their inquiries and ensure their needs are met to provide a positive experience. If you are organised, have strong communication skills, and enjoy working in a supportive educational setting, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our community.
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, along with proven administrative experience and proficiency in Microsoft applications. You will also need to work independently, setting priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
