Minuteman Missile National Historic Site is in Western South Dakota at exit 131 off Interstate 90. The Park has three separate units spread out along Interstate 90. The first site is at exit 131, the park's visitor center, second site is Delat-01 Launch Control Facility at exit 127 and Delta-09 Launch Facility at exit 116. Minuteman Missile National Historic Site's purpose is to tell the story of Minuteman Missiles, nuclear deterrence and the Cold War. Delta-01 and Delta-09 are striking examples of the alert status of United States nuclear forces during this time period. Laborer (MVO) - WG-05 Major Duties:
Performs custodial duties for visitor center, other visitor facilities, vault toilet build, and collects trash. Provides grounds care operations by picking up litter, mowing, watering, aerating lawn, fertilizer application, herbicide application. Winter months snow removal, clearing walkways, parking lots and roads.

Operates heavy power equipment such as lawn mowers, chain saws, brush cutters, brush chippers, portable snow blowers, and all types of hand and light power tools (such as shovels, Pulaski, picks, digging bars, rakes, lawn edging equipment, electric drills etc.), to maintain buildings, grounds, roads, trails, etc.

Loads and unloads supplies and materials from trucks, trailers, dollies, etc. Moves furniture, removes, and sets signs, paints picnic tables and signs, rakes and waters lawns, trims trees and shrubbery, picks up litter, cleans and repairs fire pits.

Digs ditches and trenches with pick and shovel where soil is hard and compact and must grade or slope; occasionally breaks up pavement, soil, or concrete; mixes and pours concrete, asphalt, and hot/cold mix; fills and levels holes in damaged roads. Moves heavily loaded wheelbarrows and hand trucks; uses heavy type power mowers including adjusting blades, cleaning, and oiling. Cuts trees and heavy vegetation with axe, chainsaw, or powered brush cutters; stacks heavy logs, lumber, and sacks of cement, etc., or performs other duties requiring similar judgment and comparable physical effort.

Motor Vehicle Operation
Operates vehicles over Federal, state, and country roads and city streets in all traffic conditions and performs minor operator maintenance on light duty motor vehicles such as pickup trucks, panel trucks, flatbed trucks, carryalls, sedans, crew cab pickup trucks, which typically have an approximate gross vehicle weight of up to (26,000 pounds). Vehicles are driven based on either specific trip assignments or regularly established schedules and standard routes over public roads (or the equivalent) at highway speeds to transport personnel, supplies, materials, or equipment and tools, or to tow equipment throughout rural or urban areas.

• Analyzes and makes the final determination of the competency of veterans and other VA beneficiaries and provides the final notification of the determination.
• Generates the award for the retroactive payment release, once a fiduciary is established, as well as other award actions needed by the Fiduciary Program.
• Authorizes, reviews and approves the pending award action for technical accuracy, clarity, and thoroughness.
• Insures that estate protection is in place, when appropriate, before releasing large retroactive payments and in other cases where the VA beneficiary's funds may not be adequately protected.
• Prepares Statements of the Case (SOC) on Fiduciary Program appeals.
• Provides training to other members of the Fiduciary Hub, VARO employees, service organization personnel, and other stakeholders, as needed. Serves as a Veterans Service Representative (VSR) and Legal Instruments Examiner (LIE) expert and provides technical guidance in regard to the rating, generation and authorization of Fiduciary Program awards.
• Utilizes various electronic data processing (EDP) systems for processing, monitoring, and correspondence preparation.
• Communicates directly with VA beneficiaries, eligible individuals, representatives, and advocates to explain the full range of VA benefits and all related programs.
• Gives final approval of accounts received from guardians, attorneys, legal custodians, or chief officers of state institutions except those showing a major account deficiency which cannot be remedied by correspondence. Approval is only given if the accounting is proper in every respect including commissions and/or fees within statutory or policy limits.
• Advises fiduciaries of regulations, necessary documentation and other factors which affect computation of income for VA purposes.
• Prepares reports for guardians in those cases in which VA is rendering legal services.
• Refers to the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), accounts in which there is a possible indication of fraud, embezzlement or other criminal offense.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Incumbent exercises judgment and reason and relieves Supervisor of as many administrative duties as possible. The HT Program Support Assistant performs a variety of clerical and administrative support duties for the HT Program and performs office data support using multiple automated programs and software such as SharePoint, databases, spreadsheets, word documents and graphics in support of the clerical and administrative work.

Duties include but may not be limited to the following:

• Handle and collate data for patients enrolled in the Home Telehealth(HT )Program.
• Serve as a point of contact for Veterans, medical center staff, community agencies, and various others who contact this office.

• Collect, compile and/or track statistical information and patient census report for the support of program operations and to access status or outcomes in relation to established performance measures, goals, and objectives; receive and process documents and reports in accordance with established procedures; use software applications to draw information from a wide variety of sources in order to prepare reports; and assist in the planning, review, and reporting of data/statistical results of program studies.
• Receive and ascertain the nature of the calls or visits and directs telephone calls, messages, and patients/visitors.

The Sioux Falls Veteran's Affair Healthcare System (SFVAHCS) Community Care (CC) Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator who functions independently and has a high level of initiative, innovation, and resourcefulness. He/she is responsible to coordinate the episodic care of Veterans, who are seeking treatment using a community provider or need urgent referral for community services. He/she will serve as a resource to the community vendors regarding VA processes in using Third Party Administrator and Mission Act. Performs care coordination daily for the CC Veteran population including low and highly complex care needs which is also defined further as performing case management, direct communication with interdisciplinary teams (IDT), chronic disease management and monitoring, and coordination of needed services. He/she will assist in planning, designing, integrating, implementing, modifying, and evaluating the effectiveness of program components and services to improve the quality of Veteran care in the community and assist with seamless transition of the Veteran back into the VA system. The CC RN Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing clinical review and have the expertise for the coordination of the SFVAHCS CC authorization program. He/she possesses intimate knowledge of the CC federal regulations, VHA guidelines, utilization management processes, clinical documentation requirements, current standards of care, and compliance guidelines. He/she supports the SFVAHCS mission and works collaboratively with all IDT services. The CC RN Clinical Coordinators utilize all avenues of resources available to provide safe, efficient, and timely coordination of quality health care services for Veterans. He/she utilizes the appropriate Hierarchy of Care to ensure that CC services are utilized after exhausting available internal VA resources. The CC RN Clinical Coordinators executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches when managing Veteran care. He/she functions as a coordinator for the Veteran's plans of care, monitors Veterans' progress through the continuum of care, and intervenes as necessary to assure that the care is delivered in a fiscally accountable manner, consistent with published standards of care, and in coordination with care available at the community vendors. He/she is willing to work cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignments. CC RN Clinical Coordinators makes caring for the Veteran his/her priority while in the work setting and demonstrates customer service principles in all aspects of work.
