This company is seeking a Personal Advisor to join their Cared For Children - Step Ahead Service in Rochdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice, support and guidance to young people preparing to leave care. What You Will Do:


Support Management: Assist the Registered Care Manager with the day-to-day management and coordination of the branch to ensure it operates efficiently, profitably, and delivers the highest standard of domiciliary care.
Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, produce reports, and investigate complaints from service users and employees.
Recruitment and Staffing: Maintain and grow the team by actively recruiting new care staff, guiding them through the recruitment process, and producing weekly staffing rotas.
Business Development: Actively seek new business opportunities and support the commercial growth of the branch.
Operational Compliance: Stay informed about up-to-date operational issues and methods. Ensure compliance with health and safety, emergency regulations, and operational policies.

What We Are Looking For:


Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity in the domiciliary care sector is essential.
NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care required. Level 5 in Health and Social Care is desirable or working towards.
Proven ability to effectively lead, delegate, and mentor staff.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, empathetic nature.
High level of organisational skills with the ability to produce staffing rotas and manage multiple responsibilities.

The Role

Customer Service Advisor

• Location: Manchester City Centre
• Salary: £24,735 basic
• Bonus: Uncapped (Expected earnings of £30,000 with bonus)

A growing business based in Manchester City Centre are looking to recruit a number of enthusiastic Customer Service / Sales Agents to join their expanding team.

The role is paying a starting basic salary of £24,735 per annum plus bonus schemes taking your expected overall earnings to be around £30,000.

This role also offers Monday to Friday working hours including a late start / early finish every Friday!

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with experience within a customer focused role or graduates who are looking for Monday to Friday office work.

The main duties of the role are:

• You will be checking in on customers who have requested a call through the company's website to gather more information (warm leads!). You will need to take a consultative approach with their customers to help them to make an informed decision.
• Query handling in response to customer requests with the support of clear information and providing professional customer service
• Ensure every time you interact with a customer you are determined to provide the customer with the best possible experience.
• Have the customer at the heart of everything you do.

To be considered for the role of Customer Service Advisor you must possess the following;

• Have experience within a previous customer service focused role (call centre, retail, hospitality etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional attitude and telephone manner
• Have basic IT skills

Job Description

• Supervision and Training - recruit, train, and supervise catering team, including servers, chefs, and support personnel. Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback to maintain a high level of performance
• Quality Control - monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations. Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
• Logistics Management - coordinate delivery, setup, and breakdown of catering equipment and supplies. Oversee the flow of events, including food service, beverage distribution, and guest interactions. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels
• Customer Service - foster positive relationships with clients and guests, addressing their needs and concerns. Handle customer inquiries, requests, and special dietary requirements with professionalism and courtesy. Be curious, solicit feedback from clients to continuously improve catering services

Customer Service Team Leader

Hybrid – travel to Manchester office required

£30,000 - £33,000 plus bonus + benefits

We are looking for a Customer Service Team Leader to join us on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a Team Leader in the Customer Claims department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the team, guiding and supporting Claims Advisors to meet performance targets while ensuring exceptional customer service standards. You'll be a key player in developing your team, managing performance, and driving continuous improvements to the claims process.

Key Responsibilities


Allocate and prioritise workflow for the team, ensuring KPIs and service levels are met

Provide operational feedback to the Claims Team Manager, contribute to the implementation of new processes, and be actively involved in the recruitment and selection process for new team members

Manage team performance and manage absence in line with company policies to ensure consistency and maintain a productive environment
Assist in training, development, and performance management to ensure your team is always performing at their best

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide administrative support to the CNS/ACPs. Maintain the patient Database and ensure all of the information is up to date and accurate Order supplies and patient information as requested by the CNS/ACPs. Assist the CNS/ACPs with the management of the patient pathway ie ensuring that appointments have been requested and booked. Organise and prioritise the designated workload in order to meet the needs of the service. Assist the CNS/ACPs with handover of patient care to other teams in order to facilitate safe and effective transition of care. Communicate effectively with a range of patients and health and social disciplines. This may include a variety of methods, such as electronic or in person. Triage telephone and email enquiries, using criteria agreed with the core team. Ensure patients/carers know how to contact the service when their condition / needs have changed, including out of hours. Provide general information and support about cancer services, using Trust approved literature. Sign-post patients and relatives/carers to appropriate services such as Maggies and Macmillan in order for them to speak to professionals who are able to discuss issues knowledgeably and impartially. Demonstrate the ability to recognise situations that require rapid response from a health care professional (CNS/ACPs or doctor) and respond appropriately. Evaluate outcomes of care delivery with the registered practitioner. Act as an advocate and facilitator for patients; linking with CNS/ACPs to resolve any issues. Ensure accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with hospital policies and standards. Assist the CNS/ACPs with the roll out of Holistic Needs Assessment and electronic patient outcomes (eproms) within the disease group Professional/Clinical Leadership: To act as a role model to colleagues, and be an effective resource to patients, carers and colleagues. Support clinical developments and projects to promote excellence in patient care. Attend and participate CNS/ACPs Away Days and Strategy Meetings Recognise personal limitations and work within parameters of job description, or as guided by CNS/ACPs. Seek help appropriately. Education and Development. To participate in annual appraisal and accept personal responsibility for growth and development within the role. Ensure compliance with Trust essential training. Attend educational meetings and conferences, appropriate to the role, in order to keep up-dated with current best practice. Together with other professional colleagues, develop information and resources for patients and their carers. Research and Audit Assist CNS/ACPs in audit and evaluation of service delivery and help identify areas for improvement and change.
