The Thames Reach Outreach teams operate across London and help those who are rough sleeping to find routes away from the street. The teams respond rapidly and work flexibly to reach people. Individuals are assessed to identify their support needs and support plans are created, including work to obtain identification, access health services and refer to other specialist agencies, including those offering immigration support.

Some of the key skills and experienceyou’llbring:

• Demonstrable knowledgeof service design andusercentreddesign practices for both public facing and internal services and applications

• Experience in a range of service design methods and sub-disciplines, for example, but not limited to user journey mapping, service blueprinting, service mapping, workshop facilitation, etc.

• Experience of ensuring products and services adhere to, and are designed according to, the relevant user-centreddesign and accessibility standards, e.g.GOV.UK or NHS Service Standard, Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018, Equality Act 2010, WCAG 2.1 AA etc.

• Experience in working effectively with cross-disciplinary teams and ensuring that the process for making design decisions is based on evidenced user research and understanding of user journeys

• Proven experience with prototyping and iterative design

• Evidence of continuous professional development
