The MPGS provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases across the UK Mainland. Our primary role is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases within the UK

Our duties include:

Security incident management - Such as suspicious packages, bomb threats, protests, etc.

Patrolling site perimeters - Taking necessary action to preserve perimeter security.

About The Role
As a Smart Meter Support Engineer you will support the business by visiting various properties throughout the day and undertake work on Smart Meters on a non-technical basis in both domestic and commercial buildings. The Smart Support Engineer with use a hand help device to carry out works, once completed all details of the visits must be records on the tablet which will allow records of new and existing customers to be updated. There is no live electric work, so no previous technical qualifications are required.
An example of some of the activities you will be required to complete: re-communication processes on Gas and Electric Smart Meters - changing sims cards, modems and small gain aerials, re-joining smart devices to the network whilst in contact with energy companies, exchanging batteries on gas token meters, installation of high gain aerials on externals of the property using ladders, completion of site surveys and other supporting work that require a field based engineer to visit properties.

You will be contracted to work 40 hours over Monday-Friday, consisting of shifts between 08:00-20:00.

YOUR ROLE



Our operation in Mendlesham is looking for an Operations Support Manager where you will oversee warehouse activities including, inventory operations, contract administration and client financial requirements.



This role will see you working Monday to Friday role, 40 hours a week.



WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?



Reporting into the Contract Manager, you will lead a team responsible for stock and warehouse administration. Your will ensure accurate cycle counts and value-added services and drive stock placement strategies to maximize efficiency and ensure meticulous record-keeping for annual audits.



You will build and maintain excellent relationship with the client ensuring we meet and exceed their expectations. You will also create management information reports and lead initiatives to improve warehouse systems continuously as well as maintaining up-to-date work instructions and addressing customer queries with sustainable solutions to prevent recurring issues.



You will also liaise with site help desks to resolve issues per service agreements, driving stock placement strategies to maximise efficiency, and ensure meticulous record-keeping for annual audits.



WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?



Our ideal candidate will have proven experience working within a fast-paced warehousing environment, ideally within a 3PL organisation. You will also have experience managing a diverse team and proven experience of working to targets and deadlines. You will have a customer focused mind and ability to work with stakeholders at different levels.
