Care Assistant- Nights - Required at our brand new care home ' Shenstone Court' in Halesowen - Part of the Country Court Family
Hours: Nights, 33/44 Hours per week available, working weekends on rota

Shenstone Court is one of our brand new Care homes which is located in Halesowen. From the moment you step across the threshold you’ll be embraced by its warm & welcoming atmosphere. The Home specialises in residential care, dementia care & short-term respite care.

ABOUT THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Helping our residents with personal support and care
Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
Supporting residents at meals time
Interacting with our residents on a personal level
Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met

ABOUT YOU
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.

Be no stranger to working long shifts
Have good written & verbal communication skills
Able to engage well with the residents and their families
Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.

Hours: Days, 46 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 07:45 – 20:15 )
Nestled in Kempston, Bedfordshire, our nursing home extends a warm greeting from the moment you step inside. With expertise in nursing, residential, dementia, and respite care, the home accommodates up to eighty residents.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:

Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs
Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
Supporting residents at meals time
Mentor & assist new employees.
Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs.
Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants
