To provide a professional level of support to parents/carers and school staff, providing a core offer of services for children, young people and their families where children present with challenges and barriers to learning.

Supporting Families

• Provide a one-to-one confidential support/case working duties to parents/carers; offering support and advocating on their behalf when necessary

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Mental Health Nurse to join the Camhs crisis urgent care hub in Brent & Harrow.

As part of the North West London CAMHS Transformation, CNWL CAMHS is continuing to develop a 24hr crisis care pathway aimed at helping Children and Young People including those with a learning disability, and neurodiversity who presents in mental health crisis in A&E. We are looking for a motivated nurse to join our team to provide face to face A&E psychiatric assessment, risk assessment, safe discharge plan, manage a small caseload, offer therapeutic interventions, work closely with the community CAMHS team, and review young people whilst also working in partnership with families.

Cost allowances (HCAS) will be at the Outer London rate.

ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve. We'll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions.
