1. Performs as the primary financial manager and prepares financial analysis and a variety of reports and related documents. Reviews and evaluates higher command and other agencies proposed policies and procedures for the consolidation of the Executive Dining Facilities (EDF's).
2. Performs budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of budget with different sources and types of funding. Uses automated budgetary systems and computer-generated products in accomplishing assignments.

1. Plans, organizes, and manages front office administrative and executive services, functions and activities for the SAF/FMB.
2. Serves as the authority and advises FMB staff on the interpretation and applicability of policies and procedures governing the preparation and processing of correspondence, electronic messages, and reports.
3. Executes schedule management for the SAF/FMB, to include establishing priorities, committing time, coordinating logistics, managing protocol, assembling background information, requesting and gathering read-ahead materials, reviewing all meeting read-ahead materials, arranging preparatory sessions, and delegating taskers or scheduling items to meeting POC or other senior management officials in the organization.
4. Schedules and coordinates all visits by senior level executives to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Financial Operations and the Associate Deputy Secretary for Financial Operations.
5. Develops, controls, coordinates, and monitors office administration, including staff briefings for senior level visitors, official travel, local transportation, and contracting services, records management, and determining requirements/budgeting for front office operations.
6. Arranges travel for the SAF/FMF, making necessary air, ground, and other logistical arrangements.

1. Performs budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analyses and estimates of annual funding needs for one or more future budget years and facilitates the AF/A4 Contract Management Oversight process. Conducts special studies, analyzes and reviews data, and provides sound projections of financial program and funding requirements to ensure the availability of funds.
2. Develops new methods for testing and evaluating the effectiveness of planning, programming, and budget actions/processes in support of major Air Force mission and operational plans. Analyzes the effect of high level decisions (e.g., Joint Chiefs of Staff), on the overall Planning, Programming, & Budgeting System (PPBS) processes, developing changes in areas where necessary and preparing justification rationales to support the changes.
3. Maintains a continuous liaison with other Air Staff, other Service headquarters counterparts, and DOD offices to integrate Air Force PPBE support actions. Provides results of studies, analyses, and evaluations to counterpart agencies to share experiences and thereby improve overall defense level planning in areas of assignment.
4. Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments. Periodically performs quality checks of automated system database information ensuring accuracy, validity, and regulatory requirements are met and maintained at a standard of adequacy sufficient to produce reliable reports and products for use in the budget processes.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as the HAF action officer for both Global Posture and Regional Plans enterprises. To coordinate programs by providing guidance, oversight, and support for the development and execution of regional plans and posture for critical national objectives.

DUTIES:

1. Plans, organizes, and performs activities associated with DAF Global Posture.
2. Provide regional expertise and analysis on Combatant Commands' Plans.
