• You'll define and deliver the customer journey vision for institutional banking customers

What you'll do

With a strong customer focus, your role as Customer Journey Lead will see you driving and delivering change and innovation across the customer journey. You’ll regularly connect with our customers and key business stakeholders to identify and oversee customer experience enhancements through journey optimisation, digitisation, automation and AI. You’ll ensure continuous improvement in processes and systems delivering customer experience, while leading and empowering a dedicated customer journey team.

You’ll also be:

• Critically reviewing our customer journeys to identify priority opportunities to enhance the customer experience

• Regularly connecting with customers to understand their perspectives

• Defining, measuring and delivering the future portfolio roadmap, targets and product backlog for the customer journey

• Leading customer journey teams and making sure their professional and Agile capabilities meets the needs of the business and customers

• Owning, monitoring and measuring the end-to-end customer proposition, experience and performance for the customer journey

• Contributing to the delivery of a strong P&L performance for the customer journey through commercial and operational levers

• Collaborate with key business partners across Natwest to enable outcomes

The skills you'll need

What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll be managing the analysis of complex cross franchise and pan group requirements, while capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements and making sure that they are in line with key strategic principles and the Operations strategy.

In the course of your work, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders across the business to create, shape, define and own pan-operations and individual franchise opportunities. You’ll build, manage and maintain positive working relationship with stakeholders at different levels of hierarchy and third party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions.

You’ll also:

• Create and maintain documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers
• Identify upstream failure demand in processes and propose remediation to prevent flow of work into operations
• Trace and link business requirements to future state design and communicate business needs into technical requirements
• Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project in order to validate the solution design
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and support business users in executing the user acceptance testing

The skills you'll need

You’ll need to hold an appropriate business analyst certification, such as BAX, CPRE and CBAP. You should be comfortable working with ambiguity and have the ability to pay keen attention to detail and drive progress at pace.

It’ll be ideal if you have experience of working with large scale automation or AI and strategies that are tangible and grounded, as will be a background in business design and experience of Agile processes and ceremonies.

You’ll also need:

• Experience of applying business analysis tools and techniques to include the use of a wide range of data such as Operational, Technology, Finance and HR to support problem solving and decision making
• Experience of delivering change within a banking operations team driving measurable business outcomes
• The drive to understand emerging technical capabilities and how these might be leveraged by Operations
• The ability to engage and communicate with multiple stakeholders at senior level across the bank
• An analytical mindset, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work
• Critical thinking skills, enabling you to cut through complexity, and make sound decisions and recommendations that are carefully balanced against risk

• This is a hands on role in which you'll hone your data analysis expertise and gain valuable experience in a dynamic area of our business

What you'll do

As a Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality business solutions. You’ll be performing data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis, alongside developing and performing standard queries to ensure data quality and identify data inconsistencies and missing data.

We’ll look to you to provide high quality analytical input to help develop and implement innovative processes and resolve problems across the bank.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

• Collecting, profiling and mapping appropriate data to use in defining new solutions for operations as well as for ongoing data activities
• Managing our Operations Analysis tool to include quarterly data refreshes
• Interpreting customer needs and turning them into functional or data requirements and process models
• Building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with key business stakeholders

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with experience of using data analysis tools and delivering data analysis in an operations function. It’ll be ideal if you have experience of producing data visualisation for senior leaders enabled by great presentational skills to support delivery to key stakeholders.

We’ll also look for:

• An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data and multiple data domains and familiarity working with a broad range of data such as Operational, Technology, Finance and HR
• Significant experience with Tableau Explorer and familiarity with Snowflake and Power BI
• The ability to organise and analyse data to create business insights, present the outputs to business and interpret data sets to answer questions and solve problems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of engaging senior stakeholders
