The post holder will work in the medical monitoring pathway of the Adult Community Eating Disorders Service, working closely with the team Psychiatrist, Specialist Interest General Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist. This includes physical examination, investigation, ECG and phlebotomy skills working under the direction of a Registered Nurse to service users with severe and complex eating disorders in the community.Service users will be seen at a variety of sites across the county of Bedfordshire and Luton and the post holder will be expected to travel and provide clinics throughout the county to meet the service needs including transporting equipment for the clinics, and for clinical supervision and MDT meetings. Travel to in-patient services outside the county may also be necessary to support service users for discharge. The service user group seen by the post holder will include people experiencing severe or complex eating disorders, and may present with high levels of physical and psychiatric risk, with high levels of distress, for example suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviour, and histories of trauma and abuse.The post holder will work closely with the Operational Manager and Clinical Nurse Specialist to agree case and workload levels, and systems of monitoring quality of practice.The post holder will directly contribute to the positive working environment within the multi-disciplinary team

The post holder will be based at Mind-BLMK premises in Luton, and will be required to travel to sites across Bedford, Central Bedfordshire and Luton, when necessary, for the delivery of SUN groups. As a key member of a new team of Clinical and Lived Experience SUN facilitators, the post-holder will contribute to the development and delivery of a facilitated peer support SUN service across Bedfordshire and Luton. The key responsibilities include: Working with the SUN service manager to organise and ensure the delivery of the programme of facilitated peer support groups in the area. Delivering between 3 and 5 facilitated peer support SUN groups every week, both online and in person. Co-facilitating SUN groups with Lived Experience SUN Facilitators, leading on safety plans and risk management. Developing co-produced Resource and Support Plans with participants in the SUN groups, according to the service protocols. Providing day-to day support to the Lived Experience SUN facilitators employed by Mind-BLMK, our Voluntary Sector partner. Promoting SUN and ensuring robust relationships and links with other community-based mental health services and service provides (for example, Primary Care Link Workers, NHS Talking Therapies, core mental health services, Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams, Mental Health Street Triage). As the Delivery Manager - ATE (Data Centre of Excellence), you will play a pivot role in maintaining the reliability and integrity of our pricing system (ATE) by managing the backlog and data delivery workstreams for our pricing system from Release/Sprint Planning, Product Enhancement through to Governance and Compliance to ensure operations and optimising overall service quality.

What you'll be doing:

Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, release planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of Data backlog items/project workstreams
Day to day engagement with stakeholder groups across Functions, Brands, IT SMEs and external IT Suppliers to ensure all parties are aligned on expectations, timelines and delivery status.
Ensure compliance with IT and business governance standards.
Finance and project reporting to keep stakeholders at all levels engaged and onboard.
Evaluate progress of the releases on a frequent basis and make timely interventions as needed to drive down risk and manage issues/ dependencies
Own the discovery activity to shape options for future capabilities
Manage third-party supplier deliverables to time, cost and quality

In-depth knowledge and understanding of Project management practices and methodologies

Maintain clear and regular communication with the Ambulance Liaison Office and other Healthcare professionals / colleagues, in line with agreed protocols, e.g. ISO and Caldicott. Ensure that the needs of the patient are met and operational efficiency and effectiveness is maintained.8. Assist patients in their homes, both prior to and after transportation, ensuring they have their basic needs catered for and their homes are safe. This includes measuring, highlighting and reporting areas of risk in line with Trust risk assessment procedures.9. Physically manoeuvre and / or lift patients, including the use of Trust supplied carrying aids, in circumstances where patients are unable to manage alone, after undertaking a manual handling risk assessment e.g. up and down stairs and within restricted spaces.10. Ensure that patients are taken to and collected from the agreed treatment area within the hospital or centre in a timely basis.11. Provide any clinical assistance to the authorised level of competence in all circumstances that require it.12. Participate in equipment trials, working parties and highlighting areas of potential personal and organisation service development.13. Required to take personal responsibility for continued professional development through the personal development review process, the knowledge and skills framework and Trust training sessions.
