Duties include but are not limited to:

Program Development and Support

• Assists in the development, coordination and implementation of a comprehensive interdisciplinary movement disorders program
  designed to facilitate the delivery of services to veterans with Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders and their caregivers. This requires the incumbent to identify the needs and requirements of the veteran population, services they are not able to access on their own, partners in the community who are willing to provide services or will jointly develop services.
• Assists with coordination of interdisciplinary referrals for caregivers and their Veterans.
• Provides resources and referrals to caregivers who provide care for their Veterans.
• Reviews Veteran and caregiver referral and resource utilization, participates in COE team meetings, and ensures continuity of care by maintaining communication and documentation.
• Monitors and evaluates utilization of referrals/resources, trainings, Veteran appointments, caregiver needs and makes recommendations for improvements for the Richmond Southeast COE Programs.

Data Management & Reporting

• Locates, organizes, develops and reports on all data for performance measures and reports this data to the care team weekly, and to the Administrative Officer and PADRECC Director in completing required administrative tasks such as quarterly reports which are presented to the Medical Center Leadership, VISN Leadership and VA Central Office.
• Assists in the planning, review, and reporting of data/statistical results of program/project studies; performs basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports; coordinates incoming data from a variety of sources, reviews documents and reports for omissions and inconsistencies, and ensures data entry is complete and accurate.
• Enters pertinent data into an automated tracking system and maintains program-specific data in automated systems to track suspense's on items such as project milestones, progress reports, accomplishments, compliance strategies, etc.

Administrative Support

• Functions as the scheduling expert for the interdisciplinary program model for the PADRECC COE. Performs telephone and walk-in triage and brief assessment to direct Veterans and caregivers to appropriate clinical staff.
• Assists Veterans, families, medical center staff and community agency personnel who are seeking PADRECC and other support services. This may include identifying and contacting available nursing staff and providers in response to the urgent needs of Veterans, families, and caregivers.
• Maintains a report of the telephone, call received and walk-in contacts.
• Screens all calls and visitors for the PADRECC COE program, answering most questions on established policy or routine matters.
• Ensures timely response to team members that potentially have an emergent or urgent care need through prompt identification of the problem and appropriate team referral.
• Interacts with visitors and co-workers in a courteous, tactful, helpful manner, exercising mature judgment and diplomacy.

Budget Management

• Assist the Administrative Officer with tracking monthly and annual COE funding for assigned program fund control points.
• Assist in preparing yearly funding requests.
• Performs other related duties as assigned. In addition to the full performance duties, the PSA works collaboratively as a member of an interprofessional clinical team and assists with monitoring community care referrals and cost savings with program
  expansion initiatives and development.

As a result of their past trauma, they are now navigating not only the complexities of being a teenager but also the difficult process of healing and understanding their experiences. This does often result in some very challenging behaviour therefore you must be comfortable with behaviours and needs such as absconding, self-harm, sexualised behaviour, attachment disorder, trauma, criminalisation and physical violence.

While this role can be challenging, it’s also incredibly rewarding and, most importantly, FUN. Our young people love getting out and being active—we’ve spent days hiking, kayaking, playing football, cooking nutritious meals and enjoying pamper nights. If a young person wants to do something, it’s our job to ensure it happens safely and with care.

Considerations before applying:

-You will be placed in a team anywhere within the North East of England so flexibility in travel and staying away from home is essential.
-A full UK manual driving license is a requirement for this role, our young people like to get out and about!
-We adopt a flexible approach to working as all of our young people are different. Shifts will typically follow a 4 on, 4 off pattern, including both 12 hour day and 12 hour waking night shifts, often your day shifts will be followed by a sleep in.

Requirements
-If you hold a Level 3 qualification in Child and Residential care (or a suitable alternative) that's a bonus but for the right person, we will support you in obtaining this.
-If you have an outgoing personality, are willing to get stuck in and have fun, this could be the perfect role for you!
-An understanding of trauma and its effects on behaviour will be an advantage but training will be provided.
-Understanding of what safeguarding means and the importance of safeguarding within this role.
-Full right to work in the UK and a valid UK manual driving license.

To deal politely and efficiently with patients as the first point of contact for anyone visiting the surgery or calling on the telephone. Dealing with visitors and as a member if the practice team, provide a courteous and helpful service. To ensure patient confidentiality is respected at all times and to adhere to the Data Protection Act. Making routine and emergency appointments for patient to see their doctor. Checking patient details on clinical system. Deal with requests for home visits. Answer queries with regard to results of recent tests e.g. bloods, urine or x-ray. This includes contracting the hospital(s) for these results if necessary. Inform patients, when directed by a doctor, of the need to make a follow-up appointment at the surgery. Accurate completion of registration forms and Dealing with relevant forms and updating Medical Record Envelope ( MRE ) and computer when patients change name and/or address. Preparation and computer input of claim forms such as GMS forms. Take in requests for repeat prescriptions, hand out completed prescriptions, cancel appointments when necessary, contact the patients (s) and re-book if required. Book patient hospital transport when required. Contact the emergency when necessary. Filing, photocopying and organising medical notes. Issuing of computerised repeat prescriptions. Assist in ordering and stock control of relevant stationery. Checking and tidying of consulting rooms between surgeries and keeping waiting area clean and tidy. In the morning, open the surgery and ensure everything is ready for the upcoming session. In the afternoon, close the surgery and ensure everything is locked up properly and the alarm is set. Administrative Duties Scanning documents onto clinical system and/or computer. Other administrative duties as required and agreed. Ensure the exiting patient information is correct and up to date and ensure that reception area is tidy up and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen facilities when necessary. Other Duties Preparation of refreshments to senior staff and their visitors. Practice shopping such as postage stamps, tea, coffee etc. Any other relevant duties as mutually agreed.

• To work closely with Care Manager, assisting in any matters arising, maintaining continuity in day-to-day running in Managers absence and ensuring Manager is aware of all relevant information.
• Deal effectively with all enquiries by residents, Head Office, Social Services, Regulators and sales representatives, and any other outside agencies.
• Issue Offer of Acceptance letter and contract to new residents/families and attach to system.
• To complete the Residents’ Monthly Audit accurately and within the timeframe given to ensure the accurate billing is produced.
• To ensure that all payments received are recorded in the appropriate way and information communicated to Head Office staff.
• Assist with the care and safe keeping of resident's personal property and property belonging to the Home.
• Responsible for maintaining the Home’s Petty Cash, along with the Home Manager.
• Record all purchases on the company credit card, upon receipt of statement, collate all receipts along with authorisations and return to Head Office within specified timeframe.
• Type out any letters etc. at the request of the Care Manager
• To assist in dealing with any relatives/residents/staff complaints and seek the assistance of the Care Manager.
• To assist in end-to-end recruitment processes
• To assist with the induction of new starters, ensuring they are welcomed into the team. Informing the People Champions of any offers made/new starters.
• Assist in HR Processes like absence reports, update records in relation to sickness, absence, holidays, ensure disclosure and right to work information is kept up to date and assist in rolling out document updates.
• Working accurately to deadlines set for daily, weekly and monthly tasks and reports within the home and for Head Office.
• Maintain good housekeeping of all systems ensuring current status at all times i.e. E-Learning, DBS, Careblox and Income Processing.
• Archiving relevant documentation in line with company policy and procedures.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Business Support within the Adult Social Care and Public Health Directorate at Richmond and Wandsworth Better Service Partnership.

The Head of Business Support covers a wide range of functions including business support to the Social Care and Public Health teams, as well as the directorate’s Senior Management Team.In this role you will lead key areas of work within the directorate including Health & Safety, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests, Member Enquiries, and Executive, Admin and Recruitment support.

The role has six direct reports and an overall responsibility for Business Support services covering 47 staff.

As Head of Service, you will:

• have strong experience of providing business support within a social care department
• be an experienced manager with a leadership style that inspires and motivates people, with experience of developing and managing staff to provide an outstanding business support service
• have a vision for how business support services can be provided in future, making best use of digital technology.

As a Senior Care Assistant for Maria Mallaband Care Group we ask you to care for our residents like they are your own family, caring for their Physical, Psychological and Social needs. Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals. We would love to hear from you if you have previously worked as a Senior Care Assistant, Senior Care Giver, Homecare Worker, in Social Care or as a Community Support Worker.

We offer our care staff flexible hours on full or part time basis over the 7 day week to offer a good work-life balance.
