Command Center Operations Support Specialist
The Opportunity:
When an organization has multiple moving parts in its processes, it can be difficult to critically examine them. To be more efficient and effective, it needs an operations specialist to learn its business processes and operations end-to-end and provide ways to change for the better. That’s why we need you, an operations support specialist who will help support the day-to-day operations as well as analyze every aspect of the customer’s operations, provide this data, and give the customer the path to improve their process.
As a Command Center Operations Support Specialist on our team, you'll coordinate and provide support to the scheduling lead, offering oversight to identify areas for improvement. You will collaborate with various workstreams to understand their data needs and work closely with the data analytics team on insightful analysis related to scheduling data. Your responsibilities include facilitating workshops and effectively communicating research findings and illustrative analyses to establish understanding and agreement from key decision-makers.
Your role extends to advising on the use of business process reengineering, design thinking and continuous process improvement. You will provide clients with recommendations, ensuring a solid grasp of the quantitative or qualitative results they can expect. You Have:
Experience identifying and implementing data-informed process improvements
Experience providing analytical and operational support through data-driven insights
Experience working with cross-functional teams and client organizations
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience working with healthcare scheduling or IT system operations or 6+ years of experience working with healthcare scheduling or IT system operations in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience in a clinical environment and managing provider scheduling
Experience with insurance referral process and medical terminology
Experience standing up short-term, focused teams to solve a specific issue
Knowledge of military and veteran healthcare systems
Ability to drive change across organizational boundaries

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,200.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
