You will be key in the day-to-day running of one of our supported housing services. We don’t run care homes, so there’s no need to provide personal care. The priority in your role includes the safety and wellbeing of everyone in our accommodation, including our customers.

Working with people who have a range of needs, you could be doing any number of things. From supporting customers in conversations with calls from their GP, Social Services, or Benefits teams – to dealing with the emergency services including the Police and Ambulance, when the need arises.

You’ll log all incidents to make sure we have an accurate record of events. And when a customer leaves, you will clean and prepare their room, ready for the next occupant.

Salary: Band 3. Basic pay £24,071.00 rising to £25,674.00after two years. Job Description:
This role is the main user-facing role in CTSC and will provide an accessible and inclusive service to users, providing clear signposting and guidance to all users, coaching them in the use of the online platform and providing information to resolve their queries and processing/updating high-volume case details accurately and efficiently. They will deal with the immediate, short-term needs of service users. Duties will include but not be limited to

General Duties will include the following:


· Prepare clinic case notes with specific attention to the data items required for commissioning purposes and data quality in line with the Trust’s Clinical Records Policy, ensuring that all appointment details are entered onto the Patient Administration System (PAS)

· Arrange when necessary the attendance of interpreter/link workers for patients who require communication assistance when attending clinics.

· Booking in patients attending outpatient clinics and issuing return appointments as directed by the consultant/nursing staff prior to the patient leaving the Department.

· Request and ensure delivery of health records for patients either attending a clinic or an admission, from all departments within this Trust and other hospitals.

· Prioritise own workload ensuring agreed timescales are met each day involving the provision of case notes.

· Adhere to departmental policies and procedures and participate in audits in order to maintain data quality and provide an efficient service

· Maintain the confidentiality of any information obtained regarding patients and be aware of Data Protection and Freedom of Information policy

· Work within the departmental shift patterns to cover the opening hours of the service, i.e. 8.00am – 8.00pm as and when required, including Bank Holidays

· Act as first point of contact for all patients and visitors to the Department, providing a comprehensive reception and clerical Service to patients, relatives, carers, consultants and their teams

Job role/responsibilities:

• Supervise and allocate duties to unit catering staff, ensuring efficient operation.
• Manage menu additions with attention to pricing and Operations Manager's directions.
• Maintain continual availability of menu items and ensure highest standards of food delivery, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Ensure food items are prepared following correct cooking procedures and manufacturers' instructions.
• Deliver efficient hospitality services (tea, coffee, buffets, working lunches) as requested.
• Control purchasing, maintain portion control, and ensure trading percentages are maximised, including monitoring external markets, and completing trading returns.

Qualifications:

• City and Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or equivalent.
• Food Hygiene Certificate or equipment.
