About you:

1.Provide clinical leadership for Pennine West Home Based Treatment Team, which is a service that delivers rapid and responsive specialist interventions to people experiencing a moderate to severe mental health crisis.

2.Oversight of safe and effective delivery of HBTT intervention to support service users, promoting the use of evidence-based practice through the provision of specialist knowledge and skills.

3.Operate as an integral member of the HBTT leadership team, actively participating in the multi-disciplinary assessment and formulations of people presenting in mental health crisis.


4.Utilise specialist knowledge and skills from own specialist field of practice to promote effective liaison, working relationships and operational links as appropriate.

5.Champion adherence to relevant legislation relating to safeguarding, mental capacity, mental health, human rights and restrictions to liberty.

6.Champion service user participation within individualised care planning and service development initiatives, and to support a culture of participation within the wider team, service and partner services, promoting the provision of independent advocacy where applicable.

7.Work closely with the Approved Mental Health Professional (AMPH) Service, social care partners, commissioners and outside agencies. Provide support to facilitate hospital admission and discharge.

The post is primarily to provide assessment, psychological therapy and consultation for the care of service users within the Blackburn with Darwen areas.

The teams provide services to people with complex mental health needs. Psychological therapies and psychologically informed care are valued within the teams and network, and are fully integrated within mainstream adult mental health services. The post holder will be operationally managed within the teams as a core team member, while strong professional leadership works alongside operational management to support the role.

An interest in working with individuals experiencing significant levels of complexity and personality difficulties will be essential. 3 Help patients to prepare for meals and assist in the service of meals. Serve refreshments and simple diets, where appropriate.

4 Help with the feeding of patients where appropriate.

5 Assist with bathing in bed and in the bathroom, with turning and moving of patients, including the use of mechanical aids and bed appliances.

6 If required, help patients with personal hygiene, including care of hair, teeth and nails under supervision, assist with oral hygiene of conscious patients.

8 Assist in the care of pressure areas and the care of the incontinent patient.

9 Participate in the rehabilitation of patients in hospital e.g., dressing, undressing, taking to the toilet and using commodes.

11 Care of sanitary equipment, including decontamination of baths, bins and commodes after use and the decontamination of beds, lockers and other ward equipment according to hospital policy.

12 Prepare, clean and tidy clinical rooms, clean nursing equipment and cupboards, excluding cupboards for storing controlled medicines.

13 Answer telephone, take, record and transmit messages to qualified staff.

14 Assist with keeping of routine records, e.g., weight charts and fluid balance charts.

15 Assist with movement of patients to other wards, clinics, departments or hospitals and undertake chaperon and escort duties.

16 Help patients with the care of their personal belongings.

17 Report to the person in charge, all observations made of the patient.

18 Carry out basic administrative tasks in the absence of the ward clerk, e.g., filing, ordering, checking stock levels.

19 Assist with the collection of specimens. Test urine and weigh patients as requested,

20 Liaise with other wards and departments, delivery and collecting items as required including the collection of blood for transfusion.

21 Removal of spillages of types in accordance with the Infection Control Policy.

22 Disposal of all waste including non-clinical waste bags, clinical waste and sharps.

23 Care of patients’ flowers.

24 Replenishing of all disposable items.

25 Upon receipt of ward provisions, ensure they are stored and correctly rotate according to date, i.e. milk, medical and surgical supplies.

Communication

1 Establish and maintain relationships with patients/clients, relatives, friends and staff, and participate in supporting patients.

2 Attend ward/department meetings as required, to ensure an awareness of developments within the work area.

3 Maintain an effective communication network; both verbal, written and electronic, keep registered practitioners informed.

4 Assist in maintaining, recording and storing information, including patient records, in line with Trust policy.

5 Meet and welcome patients/ relatives and other visitors and familiarise them with the environment.

6 Maintain good relationships with team members, and visitors to the ward/department.

Provide assistance when necessary.

7 Operate and input basic information to computerised systems within the unit.

8 Help maintain materials, equipment and stock, reporting problems and defects to professional staff.Training and Development.

1 Participate in Personal Develop Review. In discussion with line manager, develop an annual Personal Development Plan, to identify Training and Development needs, in line with personal and organisational objectives and linked to the Knowledge and Skills Framework

Purpose:  

This role has been designed to provide a high quality service to our customers by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately. As the customer Liaison representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients as they arrive to the building. 



The Customer Liaison Representative is seen as the face of the Link Facility. This role is also designed for, being the Link Users point of contact, review Bookings via the Kiosk booking system/platform, general knowledge of the services available, reviewing and providing feedback to Team Leader, and provide support to the Supervisors.



The Customer Services Liaison plays a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality service to our customer, meeting with customers as required, gaining feedback and engaging in proactive dialogue. The Customer Services Liaison will also be responsible for facilitating building visitors, area seating planning, proactively identify defects, report and coordinate corrective actions and maintain high standards within the building. The individual will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to understand and ensure customer needs are being met.  



Working Hours: 42 Hours per week between the following hours:

Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 17:30, Friday 07:00 - 13:00

Shift patterns are subject to availability and will be decided upon business needs.

Accountabilities, Key activities Include but are not limited to:

-Organise post collection and sign for delivery parcels

-Support Security department to undertake audits and resolve conflicts

-Be 1st point of contact for all calls and correspondence relating to desk and room bookings

-Support hospitality bookings for the building (deliveries and collection)

-Help / advise redistribution of food across neighbouring outlets dependant on building occupancy levels

-Top up tea and coffee provisions and coffee machines and keep the area clean and tidy



What we are looking for / Qualifications and Experience:

-Demonstrated ability to contribute as a member of a team to achieve positive outcomes and provide quality service to customers 

-Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities, monitor and co-ordinate a range of prescribed processes, to achieve tight deadlines and desired outcomes with due regard to accuracy 

-Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) Practises and Policies 

-Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service 

-Acceptable level of Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and staff at all levels in both written and spoken English 

-Previous knowledge of skype is desirable, but not essential 

-Previous knowledge of Microsoft systems (word, excel ect) desired but not essential  

-Computer Proficiency 

-Ability to work independently if needed  

-At least 2 years of a training background or customer service role is desirable  

-Previous knowledge of desk booking systems is also desirable but not essential
