My public sector client is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant / Support Worker to work alongside one of their Lead Product Managers to support them with their day-to-day work. This is a temporary assignment for about 5 months, working Monday to Friday paying £14.53 per hour, full time 37.50 hours a week. We are looking for applicants with experience of working in a busy office environment and using multiple IT packages for varying purposes to join our team and provide administrative support to the HM Senior and Area Coroner.
In this role you will be the first point of contact for bereaved families, professional witnesses and outside agencies that contact or attend the Coroner Courts. You will support the HM Coroner, families, interested parties, witnesses and jurors when attending court.
You must have a proven track record of high levels of customer service and experience of working in both an emotionally challenging environment and one that is governed by legislation.
Excellent communication skills along with the ability to be professional, sensitive and responsive to the needs of bereaved families as well as the ability to deal and liaise with other customers and professionals are essential in this role.
Other essential skills include accuracy, attention to detail and ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. The role will involve attending court and reading statements out loud in court, including those which contain complex medical information, therefore the ability to speak confidently in a public setting is essential.
This position by the nature of the role of the HM Coroner involves constant and detailed interaction about death including cause of death and detailed circumstances around a death. Many aspects of the work may be distressing owing to the nature of investigating deaths but it is also rewarding supporting families following a bereavement.

The role
In this role you will offer guidance and support to neurodiverse or disabled learners on our programmes to enable them to achieve their aspirations and goals. You will deliver effective teaching, learning and support to learners for qualifications and their individual needs

The responsibilities

• Create individual support plans tailored to learner's individual needs, considering the results of initial & diagnostic assessments.
• Motivate, enable and drive learners to achieve their goals through outstanding teaching and learning
• Deliver learning and evidence progression to meet the targets set for the learner
• Deliver engaging and creative learning to meet the needs of the learner
• Provide continuous and effective Information, Advice & Guidance to learners
• Provide pastoral support to learners as required to aid engagement & achievement of their goals
• Deliver and facilitate teaching, learning and support that encourages accelerated and autonomous learning
• Support the learning process through the development of learning resources.
• Engage and coach the learner's Employer/Mentor to provide adequate support and guidance
• Complete detailed documentation to evidence the need for Learning Support Funding

Your experience and skills

• Experience of and a proven track record of working with SEND learners

Your qualifications

• Educated at degree level or equivalent experience
• Teaching qualification preferred but not essential
