Service Care Solutions are currently working with a charity to fill a long term contract for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker. This role will be closely managing a caseload of Opiate, Alcohol and Non-Opiate cohort.

Key role and responsibilities for Recovery Worker

• Completing Comprehensive Assessments
• Managing a high caseload of complex cases
• Completing Care Plans & Risk Assessments
• Working closely with Substance Misuse clients
• Deliver harm reduction advice for needle & syringe, recovery interventions, blood borne virus intervention and overdose prevention
• Enable service users to access education, employment services, health services, and wellbeing & recovery support activities

Minimum requirements for Recovery Worker

• Knowledge of completing Comprehensive Assessments
• Experience managing a high caseload of complex clients
• Able to manage a mixed caseload of Opiate, Alcohol and Non-opiate cohort
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge
• Comfortable working in a busy environment
• Able to identify risks and take appropriate action

We are looking for aClinical Trials Support Assistantto join the Research & Innovation team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trustto support research within theNon-Clinical Cross Specialty Team.

This post is offered as a Band 2-3 Developmental role. The post-holder will join the team at Band 2 AfC salary (Clinical Trials Support Assistant) and progress to Band 3 AfC salary (Clinical Trials Assistant) upon successfully completing the competency assessment criteria checklist for the Band 2 role over the first 6 months in post. Depending on experience, the time period for completing the assessment criteria may be extended to 12 months.

The successful applicant will work closely with a dedicated mentor who will provide robust training to enable them to meet the above competencies within the outlined timeframe.

The post holder will be integral for driving research across adult and paediatric research specialties. The postholder will need to be flexible and adaptable to support the set up and coordination within any research specialty at MFT, based upon service need. It is essential that the post-holder is willing to travel to all Trust sites.

You will ensure that comprehensive, high quality and efficient administrative processes are in place for setting up studies, data management, ensuring full compliance with the regulatory framework; including financial management of study set-up costs and income recovery in conjunction with the R&I finance team.

You will have good communications skills, a team orientated approach and the ability to plan and undertake work in an accurate, methodical and efficient manner. A good eye for detail is essential, as are strong administrative and IT skills.

You will support our dynamic research team and get involved in many aspects of our research studies. You will actively contribute to the performance and delivery of the team by ensuring you provide administrative support in a proactive, timely and efficient manner.
