An opening has arisen to work as part of the onsite APCOA Management team at Luton Airport as a Service Delivery Manager. This role is vital to support the day to day operations of Priority parking with in the Airport. You will be responsible for managing and motivating a large team, whilst ensuring the smooth running of operations and the service we offer.

- Agree on a weekly/daily basis with the Operations Manager a plan of action to ensure resources are deployed to the areas of most need during the working weeks
- Ensure that the Priority Parking and Mobile Enforcement teams are effectively always running the operation
- Ensure briefings are being maintained at the start of each shift in Priority Parking
- Monitor the performance of staff and ensure delivery of allocated tasks and service levels are maintained to a high standard
- Monitor and report the SLA performance of the service provided by APCOA
- Manage and investigate any damage claims or complaints and ensure they are appropriately dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner and reported though the correct systems, with any actions followed up.

- Ensure Priority Parking services are preformed to the agreed Standard Operating Procedures, and the movements per hour are being achieved, whilst ensuring sufficient capacity is available
- Responsible for the recruitment and selection of all employees within their shift, in line with company guidelines
- Conduct monthly reviews and annual appraisals to identify and constantly improve colleagues’ awareness and understanding through development
- Responsible for maintaining records, mentoring and on job training and identifying external training requirements
- All timesheets are accurate and forwarded to the operations/Contract Manager in agreed format and timescale

Working in Paediatrics at a very exciting time as the New Ward Block comes to completion, with the new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Planning for this move is well underway, and the Assistant Service Manager will be working with the team to support this development.

Children's Services covers both Paediatric Wards and Outpatients and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We are expanding clinic capacity by moving some clinics to The Grove Health Hub in Dunstable.

Reporting to the Service Manager. Managing day to day workflow, post, A&G, referrals, shared email, and supporting the secretaries and administrative staff. Manage clinic utilisation, working with senior secretary to manage room bookings. Managing the Lost to Follow Up Report, and monitoring RTT. Log Consultant annual leave and study leave. Manage Consultant Connect telephone system and Rota Watch.Manage the Medical Secretaries and Admin support staff.

Main Responsibilities

As the Head of Adults Social Care, some of your responsibilities will be:

• Review S75 arrangements for the provision of MH social work which LBC has delegated to ELFT

• Put in place interim performance measures and specification for the current year 23/24 based on existing arrangement and precious specification

• Ensure that all elements are monitored, and work closely with LBC & ELFT colleagues to rectify any performance and data collection issues

• Lead on the development of a new S75 Partnership Agreement between LBC and ELFT working closely with strategic leads in each organisation

• Review financial arrangements underpinning the s.75/contractual arrangements and work with the Trust and LBC to ensure costs are in balance with contract value, in particular supporting the development of a plan to mitigate AMHP overspend

Requirements:

• Substantial experience in a relevant social/health care field, including demonstrable experience at a management level
• Substantial experience of preparing and managing large and complex budgets and involvement in policy development and planning processes
• Able to work flexibly to attend evening meetings and provide presentations.
