Shift Pattern:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with flexibility to be available for any facilities-related issues outside of core working hours.

This is a regional role and you will be working from any one of our 7 locations, and will be expected to travel to all locations in accordance with your role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage, lead, and support maintenance teams across multiple sites to deliver a high standard of facilities upkeep.
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards of each home.
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, environmental regulations, and internal policies, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
Budget management, including planning and monitoring expenditure on maintenance and repairs, as well as procurement of external services.
Identify and implement sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives to support company targets.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience in estates and facilities management, ideally within a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk management, and regulatory compliance within a care environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating teams across multiple locations.
Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and controlling costs effectively.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
Relevant qualifications in facilities management, health and safety, or property management are desirable (e.g., NEBOSH, BIFM).

Job Overview
The Registered Home Manager will provide clinical leadership, governance and management in the domiciliary care home. The post holder will: Provide a full PA provision for the Service Manager. Provide a full and confidential secretarial and administrative service to the Service Management Team. Provide a first point of contact for internal and external queries, answering them where possible and otherwise signposting them to the appropriate department. Attend and minute meetings as required and be responsible for the typing and presentation of reports and minutes in accordance with the required format. Manage the communication, to and from, the Service Manager and Service Management Team and across all Directorates ensuring that all matters are prioritised appropriately. Ensure that there is an efficient electronic and manual filing and retrieval system in operation with a functioning brought forward system. Take lead responsibility for organising workshops and other functions as directed. Attend and minute meetings if required and transcribe minutes ensuring follow up action is taken for specific pieces of work/committees.
