We are looking for an experienced and talented Customer Analytics & Decision Science Manager who expects more from their career. It is an opportunity to work with a major transformation program in one of the UK's leading retailers. You will deliver insight, analytics and measurable value, acting as a trusted business partner and SME to our leadership teams. Your customer/shopper insight, analytical and presentation skills will be key to driving optimal decision making across the business.

-Manage, coach, upskill & motivate a team of Customer Insight Analysts to deliver brilliant work
-Manage the creation of high-quality deliverables across the Customer/Shopper Insight, Price, Promotion & Range workplans.
-Take the lead on managing insight and analytics work.
-You will work with business leaders to understand the business strategy, key decision points and how Data & Analytics can deliver measurable value.
-Use your insights from our tools, analysis and data science team to create and provide insights and solutions that add measurable value to the business units.
-Hands on role with high proficiency in the tools we are building
-Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to put the right customer data-led decision making into all existing and new business processes.
-Actively input and feedback any opportunities to improve team output / toolkit.
-Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in retail data analysis and Insights.

This position is a critical role that requires a candidate who is self-reliant, detail-oriented, organized and possesses excellent communication skills.
-You'll have proven experience in Customer Insight for commercial and customer decision making
-You'll be fluent in Data & Analytics, with a solid foundation and understanding of data and areas of analytics.
-A strong communicator and influencer - You are able to conversewith all levels of seniority across the business
-Commercially aware - You understand the business and industry that you operate within.
-A people manager - You manage expectations of stakeholders, their team and direct line management when delivering solutions.
-Resilience - You are self-sufficient and able to drive forward work, bounce back from adversity and quickly notice changes/problems.
-A team player - You are able to workas part of multi-disciplinary teams on multiple projects at the same time.
-Analytical - You'll be able to resolve problems with a deep understanding of commercial and customer metrics
-Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
-Knowledge of the retail industry and trends
