Collate performance information required for the monthly management and other reports as required by the home manager.
Undertake clinical audits as required by the home manager and clinical and care governance. Ensure action plans are fully implemented.
Review accidents and incidents and ensure that lessons learnt are translated into practice. Conduct investigations as directed by the home manager, following an accident, incident or complaint.
Ensure high standard of record keeping are maintained in accordance with company requirements.
Review compliance with the Health and Social Care Act (2008) and Essential Standards of Quality and Safety (2010) and ensure that any requirements and recommendations made following a CQC review are actioned appropriately.
Ensure that clinical equipment is maintained in a safe, clean and fully functional state and that colleagues are competent and confident to use it.
Report areas of concern to the home manager and agree appropriate action to be taken.




Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to care delivery are maintained and effectively used by colleagues


Ensure colleagues are aware of company policies and procedures and that these are incorporated into practice.
Ensure effective and clearly documented handover systems are in place and that they facilitate the effective transfer of information between colleagues.
Ensure that notifications are completed and sent to CQC, in accordance with regulatory requirements and that all accidents and incidents are reported, recorded and investigated in line with company policy.
Ensure that all colleagues are aware of safeguarding vulnerable adults procedures and that these are implemented within the home.
Organise team meetings and ensure that minutes are taken and disseminated.
Provide information to residents and relatives in relation to care delivery, being mindful of data protection and Caldicott requirements.

Engage and support the cancer services workforce to improve the patient pathway

In liaison with key stakeholders plan and coordinate the implementation of each element of personalised care and stratified and patient initiated follow up pathways (SFU/ PIFU).
1. Scope current practice across all cancer MDTs with autonomy to design and implement service redesign to improve patient care.
2. Development and submission of business cases and other bids to support full implementation as necessary and required.
3. Responsibility for policy information, writing of policies and implementation and service development for cancer services.
4. Create a strategy and co-ordinate the stages of the project, facilitating implementation with relevant teams ensuring that each project work stream has clearly defined timescales and key milestones, making project evolvement visible.
5. Provide robust and accessible leadership throughout the duration of the project.
6. Lead the development of stakeholder engagement and new ways of working relating to the project across primary and secondary care. This is expected to include engagement with (but not limited to): Cancer MDT teams, GPs, Practice Nurses, Commissioners, Volunteers, Cancer Charities, KHFT staff (front line, managerial and clinical), and patients/carers living LWBC

Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation which provides high-quality, person-centred support to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia. The support we offer is tailored to the individual, and promotes their independence and community engagement.

We are seeking a warm, compassionate and proactive Extra Care Registered Manager to provide person-centered care and support to our services users. The service based in vibrant, multi-generational Cecil Gardens which supports service users to be independent and foster connections with the community. Being the CQC Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of Cecil Gardens along with a wider senior team.

Working in collaboration with the landlord, stakeholders and local health and social care services, you will ensure that the highest standards of care and support are provided. You will ensure that the service empowers clients and meets their needs and preferences. You will work in conjunction with service users’ families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere within the service. The ability to work in an empathetic and holistic way in order to maintain orientation and independence is essential. You must be flexible, energetic and reliable. You will be responsible for managing a team of care staff at Cecil Gardens.

You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role including, but not limited to, providing support with dignified personal care and domestic tasks, and supporting individuals to access employment, education, and social opportunities. The successful candidate will be ultimately responsible for providing the IT Support services to all their Customers across the Group & leading the Support Team
What you'll need to succeed
Service Desk Managers or ambitious Service Desk Team Leaders who are looking to move their career to the next level would be considered for this opportunity.
Applications will be considered from candidates who can demonstrate the main requirements listed here:
- Previous experience of coordinating a Service Desk including asset, incident and problem management, offering hands on support to assist with Hardware, Software and Networking.
- Demonstrate strong technical and organisational skills and be able to recognise where processes can be streamlined to ultimately improve the end user experience.
- Continually review and update request handling.
- Track and analyse trends in Service Desk requests
- ITIL Foundation v4 would be ideal.
Technically, candidates need to be able to demonstrate the below key skills;
- Strong technical background with experience in Windows, Linux, and some macOS operating systems, as well as typical software applications (including MS Azure AD and O365, EOL, Teams and SharePoint) and network technologies.
