Main Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of the branch to ensure that it is efficient, profitable and provides the highest standard of care to all customers.
• Holding the CQC/CIW registration for the branch and ensure that it operates within CQC/CIW guidelines.
• Maintain and grow carer numbers by actively recruiting new team members and guiding them through the recruitment process.

• Regularly review the operation of the branch to ensure that all customer needs are met.

About You

To be successful in this role you'll need to have a level 5 NVQ in Management in care or be willing to work towards achieving this. Additionally, you'll need to have knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice in line with CQC/CIW guidance and experience of working within the care sector at management level. You'll also need to have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

What you’ll need to do the job


- An experienced Aircraft Engineer
- A minimum of 10-years’ experience in either a Civil or Military aviation environment
- Knowledge of MAA, CAA & EASA Part 145 Regulations/Approvals
- Hold or have the ability to hold Level G/H Engineering Authorisations
- Be or have the ability to hold an A1/A2 NVQ Assessor to Level 3 standard in aeronautical engineering.
- Understanding of all Civil and Military Airworthiness Safety Regulations
- Proven leadership and management skills, able to enthuse, inspire and engage.
- Creative thinking, able to develop business improvement ideas and innovate.
- An excellent communicator, with well-developed presentation skills and a first-class influencer
- Capable of thinking and working both strategically and operationally.
- Capable of developing partnerships and professional relationships with customer, sub-contractors and key stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.

Your team will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and quick discharge in line with patient's care plans, whilst supporting families often during a great time of stress. This is a high-quality service that reduces unnecessary delays in the discharge process.

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring the teams activity to ensure referrals are proactively progressed and processes are followed, monitoring their KPIs and providing updates to key hospital contacts and commissioners. We're looking for a strong problem-solver that will act as a point of escalation for the team and our clients, to ensure a world-class customer service is delivered at all times.

Every day you will…

Manage a team of Care Liaison Advisors by conducting team meetings, 1:1s, delegating workload and monitoring productivity and KPIs to ensure referrals are proactively progressed and processes are followed
Act as the main point of contact for hospital colleagues and commissioners, working closely with the hospital discharge team and acting as an ambassador for CHS
Build relationships with healthcare system colleagues and gain an understanding of the wider teams, systems and processes and support the Operations Manager in seeking out opportunities to provide further support or services
Lead monthly contract review meetings, reporting and presenting on KPIs and data outcomes
