We have an exciting and great opportunity to recruit an Executive Support Officer to join our team, this role is a full time permanent position.
In this role you will be supporting the Political Leadership of the Council and other senior Councillors. You will need to be passionate about working in a support role with a ‘One Coventry’ approach in all that you do, building and maintaining positive and productive relationships both internally and externally.
The skills you will bring to the role will include:
- The ability to work flexibly as part of a busy team, working to strict deadlines and managing conflicting demands
- An awareness of a local authority’s management and political management structure and the role of Councillors
- Experience of dealing with confidential information.
- Experience of providing high level executive or PA support.
- Good IT skills with the ability to prepare presentations, reports and minutes.
- An ability to analyse and evaluate data.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- A ‘can do’ attitude.
