The End User Support Senior Engineer is an on site role andwill assist the Team Leader with the development and support of the end user support team, providing desktop support across the trust, and all community sitesin line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and in accordance with appropriate standards.



The post holder will be expected to deliver and maintain end user operational services through the timely resolution of incidents and requests and will act as a point of escalation for more complex end user support issues.



The Trust operates a 7-day per week operational service, and it is expected that the End user Support Team supports these hours. Hence, there is a requirement to work weekends and evenings with the existing IT Service Desk shift system.



The post holder will be expected to take part in an on-call scheme operated via a Rota system,beresponsiblefor the installation and support of IT equipment and softwarein line with established procedures, to support standard operations and the rollout of new projects within the Trust.

The post holder will manage and participate in the support of IT systems and projects having a detailed knowledge of systems and infrastructure required to diagnose and resolve complex integrated technical issues. Provide and receive complex or sensitive information and escalations from junior colleagues as part of the role, using technical abilities to ensure calls are resolved quickly or escalated to the appropriate team or specialist. This applies to both technical issues, complaints and staff disputes. Tocontinually make decisions about technical escalations, reacting to emerging technical situations and dealing with IT issues.Follow standard operating procedures for the progress and resolution of complex calls and provide feedback to customers and technical teams.Plan and organise day to day activities around managing work queues and priorities. There are likely to be times where planned work will need to be adjusted due to variable workload or higher priority calls coming in. Supervision of more junior staff to meet workload demands and appropriate skill mix .Provide training and guidance / shadowing for new starters within the department. To participate in testing of IM&T systems proposed for use within the team or wider organisation as required.

We are looking to appoint a Clinical Fellow in Intensive Care Medicine with a specific interest in the use of echocardiography and ultrasound in critically ill patients. It is a 12 month fixed term post with duties at the Royal Derby Hospital.

The job will help fill the knowledge and experience gap that many trainees and clinicians have in using echocardiography and ultrasound on ICU. It is anticipated that fellows who complete a year would be able to apply for FICE accreditation, gain considerable experience in teaching and supervising both TTE and TOE, publish research in this area and have a working knowledge of the use of focused ultrasound in critically ill patients.

The appointee will work on the ICU with a 1:8 on call. This post offers the appointee the opportunity to gain experience in TTE, TOE, lung and focused abdominal ultrasound, No previous experience in these areas is required. Once trained, the appointee will also use the simulator to run teaching sessions and help deliver our accredited echo course. TOE is gradually being introduced into the anaesthetic service and the fellow would be expected to help expand this role.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

- To provide shift management and support to the team, in line with company policy and regulatory requirements. Supervising and providing guidance, support, direction and leadership to staff; ensuring tasks are effectively completed.

Senior Customer Engagement Consultant
UK Remote with regular travel across the UK
Job Summary
This is an exciting time for Babington as we evolve our Customer Engagement strategy and structure to ensure we’re in the best shape for the future. This position will prioritise your focus on three main areas:
You’ll work closely with the Head of Customer Engagement and the wider Customer Engagement team, focusing on developing Babington’s existing relationships and identifying, engaging and winning new business opportunities to ensure our continued growth.
As such you’ll be an experienced sales professional / account manager who understands and holds funded learning experience and has previous tenure operating in this sector in a sales and partnership capacity. You will be aligned to one of our 4 market verticals: Public Sector / Financial Services / Tech Media and Telco / FMCG & Logistics.
Required Responsibilities

Account Management: You will be responsible for account growth through repeat business and/or new programmes and services and have the depth of experience and sector knowledge to build a robust pipeline of activity.


Networking: You will identify opportunities for Babington to participate in industry events, conferences and networking opportunities and develop your relationships with industry peers and prospective customers developing your profile as a subject matter expert both internally and externally.


Proposal Development: You will be responsible for engaging and collaborating in extensive discussions with customers to understand their pain points and desired outcomes, gathering relevant information to ensure all Babington proposals address key customer requirements, align with their expectations and resolve any issues which may prevent successful delivery.


Market Analysis: You will be accountable for conducting market research to identify prospective customers, new business opportunities, understand market trends and develop a deep understanding of the funded learning and apprenticeship / competitor landscape.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrable experience of consistently meeting or exceeding targets & KPI's over a 0-12 month period.


Minimum of 3 years proven experience and exposure building robust relationships and will be responsible for transitioning this experience to allow you to become our customers ‘trusted advisor.’


Minimum 2 years experience of working with customers within the relevant industry, to provide suitable and relevant solutions.


Minimum of 12 months’ proven experience managing customer accounts, with the responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction.


A good understanding of the UK apprenticeship landscape, including funding, standards, and regulatory requirements. You will be able to demonstrate your previous proven experience supporting customers to implement apprenticeships, within one of Babington’s 4 vertical markets.


Proficient in using a CRM package to record and manage all customer interactions and sales activities.


We are a national business and so are most of our customers. You’ll have a full driving licence and be comfortable spending 2 - 4 days a week traveling to spend time with customers.

Liaison, Communication and Working Relationships Assist in the development and maintenance of good working relationships with relevant statutory and voluntary agencies to facilitate access to a full range of appropriate services. Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation Accurately maintain all recording systems - paper based and computerised (including databases), ensuring compliance with First Steps ED procedures and Policies. Provide regular reports as required. Maintain clear, accurate individual records, which are accessible to people using services within the agreed policy. Personal Development, Supervision and Training Participate in regular support and supervision from line management Continuously developing professional knowledge and expertise, attending training and development events as and when required Attend and participate in regular team and other meetings, both internal and external.
