It’s been designed to meet the needs of the local area for a specialist service to support people with ongoing complex needs and challenging behaviours who are stepping down from hospital or to avoid an inappropriate admission to hospital to enable them to return to their home area.

This small service is made up of six individual apartments which allow people to live in their own home setting and be provided with person centred care, whilst having access to a range of communal facilities to avoid isolation. It’s in the heart of the local community within walking distance of a full range of local facilities and resources.

You will receive a structured and thorough induction training programme before working with the residents, which includes a focus on positive behavioural support and training in the management of aggression and other behaviours of challenge, alongside specialist training in Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health.

About the Role:

As Area Manager you will oversee delivery of high-quality services.

Key responsibilities of the role are to ensure the successful delivery of a high quality, efficient and responsive services to victims, the identification of income growth and partnership opportunities and building relationships with relevant commissioning bodies and other stakeholders. A focus on team development, and the monitoring of performance and quality are key within the role.

Personal Care Assistant required in the Moorgate S60 area of Rotherham

To support a positive gentleman with a good sense of humour and outgoing nature, by enabling him to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets his chosen lifestyle.

He enjoys several activities such as going shopping, to the cinema and out for walks.

Hours

7 hours per week. 9am 4pm on Thursday with optional, additional hours available to cover annual leave on other days as and when required.

Preferred Driver but not essential

Rate of Pay £12 per hour

Duties Include:

Accompanying and supporting him in accessing the community and encouraging him to do so

To help plan and suggest activities outside the home

To take a proactive approach in all aspects of the role

Personal care to encourage toileting and support with dressing if required

Meal and drink preparation

General light household duties may be required on occasion

To always maintain confidentiality

To liaise with colleagues and his family to discuss any relevant concerns

About You:

Can work under your own initiative and preferably with experience in 1:1 and 2:1 care support

Experience in supporting an individual with challenging behaviour is desirable. Support and training will be provided by colleagues and family if required

You must be an enthusiastic individual, as well as reliable, punctual, and flexible, with a positive attitude and calm manner

Possess clear and concise communication skills

A driver would be preferred but is not essential. The gentlemen has a Motability vehicle which you would use during work hours if you are a driver.

A DBS check may be required. The expense will be met by your employer

CARE ASSISTANT IN S26 (Aston area of Rotherham)



The position is for 2 x Care Assistants for a client with several disabilities.



HOURS: Could be anytime from 9am and on very rare occasions until 11pm, Saturday, and Sunday 6 Hours a week for each Care Assistant (must be willing to cover any annual leave and sickness)



WAGE: £13.50 per hour



MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



. Supporting client with rehabilitation (swimming and going to the gym).

The role

Our Guest Service Assistants are responsible for ensuring every guest receives a safe, outstanding experience. This role reports directly to the Guest Service Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel, Holiday Inn Rotherham-Sheffield M1 Jct.33.

Guest Service Assistant duties include:

• supporting your hotel in achieving all brand and company metrics and objectives
• building and developing relationships with guests, assessing their needs and flexing style and approach appropriately?
• ensuring all repeat guests, priority members and VIP’s receive recognition and appreciation?
• following SOPs to ensure consistent hospitality for all guests
• maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge about all IHG hotels in your region and promote the hotel, products and services and IHG to all guests

What you’ll bring to the team

Ideally, you will have some previous experience in a fast-paced, customer facing role and passion for outstanding Customer Service. Due to the nature of the role the ability to anticipate guests needs is highly desirable. You will also be comfortable using a range of technology, including MS Office.
