DaVita is hiring a Supervisor for our Medicare Patient Account team within Revenue Operations. This position assists the manager by providing leadership and direction to Revenue Specialists on a Collections and Credits team.
We are looking for a motivated and results oriented leader who has proven success in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for daily operational oversight and directing teammates to ensure processes and tasks are being completed as expected. They will lead the team is meeting critical metrics to ensure efficient and effective resolution of outstanding accounts receivable and accurately following policy and procedure to adhere to federal rules and guidelines.
In addition, this leader is one who excels in passion for high complexity problem solving, people development, and analytics and reporting. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to work well as part of a fast-paced team. The ideal candidate is accomplished in multitasking abilities, strong mathematical and analytical skills, and is driven by moving metrics and implementing efficiencies to achieve success. On top of supervisory responsibilities, this position will be responsible for leading and/or actively supporting the execution of strategic initiatives, process re-design, analytical report development, and special projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive:
- Hybrid/Remote opportunity local to Denver, CO. Monday-Friday 8 hours a day
- Provide daily supervision, direction, mentoring, coaching, and performance management to teammates
- Monitor team results to evaluate compliance, quality and effectiveness to identify opportunities for improving results and driving efficiencies
- Determine staffing plans that promote the most effective use of all teammates; conduct regular career conversations
- Keep team informed of all important announcements and impacts to the book of business
- Establish, communicate, and ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved
- Address teammate relations issues appropriately and escalate to manager as necessary
- Assist Manager and work with People Services regarding teammate employment activity such as hiring, promoting, job performance, evaluations, PTO, and disciplinary action as required
- Write and conduct teammate annual Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) as required
- Maintain teammate records in compliance with DaVita policy's and any applicable laws
- Understand and communicate DaVita company policies and procedures
- Know, understand, and follow DaVita teammate guidelines as well as local safety and security policies and procedures.
Special Projects
- Lead or actively participate in special projects
- Serve as a liaison between the data analytics team and other departments to ensure business needs are met in an efficient and effective manner
- Support the analytics team manager via business acumen and technical knowledge
- Meet tight deadlines in a time sensitive and resource constrained project environment
- Provide frequent updates to manager regarding the status of activities and initiatives
- Assist with CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) projects or other efforts designed to improve effectiveness/efficiency of the business
- Identify system and process improvements opportunities and make recommendations
Analytics/Reporting
- Perform root cause analysis on large amounts of datasets and create detailed reports for strategic business issues and opportunities
- Identify system and process improvements and recommend process improvement plans
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of performance metrics to the senior leadership team as required or scheduled
- Maintain reporting continuity, integrity, and communication among analytical departments
Other Duties
- Champion the DaVita Mission and Values both internally and externally
- Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as scheduled or needed
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
- Travel required: up to 5%
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree (required or substituted by 7+ years of applicable experience in similar or related role with a high school diploma or equivalent)
- 1-2+ years in leadership role with direct reports (preferred)
- 1+ years in healthcare Revenue Operations experience (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience with generic accounting, transactions, coordination of benefits, or medical billing systems (preferred)
- Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (required)
- Critical thinker with demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis, draw conclusions, solve problems, prepare and implement action plans, and lead improvement initiatives
- Willingness and desire to create a team learning environment and to foster a positive, fulfilling work environment
- Demonstrated strengths in teambuilding and leadership skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an acute ability to listen attentively and to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
