Kingsbury Court Care Home is a 2015 addition to the Maria Mallaband care home range, purpose-designed to offer three separate floors for residential, nursing and dementia care practice. We are excited to be hiring for a Senior Social Care Assistant to join our fantastic Supporting Independence and Reviewing team (SIRT) based at Quadrant Court in Woking, Surrey. SIRT is a small dynamic and very supportive team. We offer ongoing training and development, as well as an Employee Assist Programme to support your Wellbeing. About the Team
Come and joint our small diverse and dynamic Supported Independent and Reviewing Team (SIRT) which is part of Surrey County Council's adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism service.

The main function of SIRT team is to review individual's package of care, carryout assessment of needs and move people from residential care home into a supported independent living accommodation where an individual has more choice and control over their day-to-day living.

We work in a person centred/strength-based approach way to support individuals to live a full life, be part of their local community and reach their own SMART goals. We offer regular supervision, mentoring and well-being sessions. Also, there are plenty of training opportunities available. Our friendly team will support you to develop your understanding around adult social care and for you to expand your knowledge and skills.

About the Role
As a Senior Social Care Assistant at Surrey, we will put you in the best possible position to assess the social care needs of our service users, providing direct positive intervention to some of our more complex service users and support for their carers, this will include completing assessments and reviews to ensure those interventions are strength-based and person-centred. Also, you will be expected to complete safeguarding work and work collaboratively with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure our Service Users and their families receive the best possible outcomes.
