The Improvement, Transformation and PMO Directorate has a vital role in the delivery of change across the Trust. The directorate contains the following functions:



The Programme Management Office, which has responsibility for the running of projects and programmes across the Trust.

The Improvement and Transformation Team, which helps educate, guide and develop change choices within our services across the Trust.

Based, within the PMO, this role will help all the above teams co-ordinate their work and support across a wide variety of administrative needs and tasks.

Administrative:

The Improvement, transformation and PMO Directorate plays a vital role in the innovative delivery and ongoing support of change at NUH and its wider Health and Social care partners. The post holder will provide comprehensive business and administrative support to the Improvement, transformation and PMO Directorate, ensuring a professional and efficient service at all times.



The post holder will need to work autonomously and will be responsible for implementing an administrative processes to support the effective running of the team and delivery of the service. They will be responsible for ensuring daily management of email inboxes, telephone calls and other correspondence is dealt with in a timely manner. Assist members of the wider team with scoping tracking and responding to customer queries including documenting the requirements of customers and tracking progress; arranging meetings and producing reports for internal use and wider. The post holder will also be responsible for co-ordinating and managing the collation of Freedom of Information requests.



The team is based at the City Hospital campus, although the post holder will be required to work across all Trust sites with the opportunity for flexible working including hybrid working from home.


KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative:

· Provide administrative support toImprovement, transformation and PMO Directorate staff, ensuring that tasks are undertaken in a timely manner and to a high standard.

· Assist with the production and co-ordination of performance reports on a monthly basis, ensuring that documents presented are of a high quality and consistency is maintained.

· Co-ordinate the production and completion of information reports to ensure that they are processed in an orderly and timely fashion. Invoke the escalation process where there is deviation in process requests are not being progressed in a timely manner.

· Support customers in the production of resource requests, ensuring that their business requirements are fully understood and documented.

· Assist with the scoping process, seeking advice from suppliers and colleagues as and when required in order to provide a quotation.

· Produce handover documents to ensure that confirmed/funded work is completed in line with the timescales agreed with the Customer.

· Support the teammates in the preparation, circulation and updating of management and quality documents, and communications products such as, PowerPoint presentations and website content.

· Assist the Business Development Team toraise the profile, awareness and understanding of Change processes and encourage compliance with these processes.

We require a proactive proactive and hardworking staff to work as part of a team in a production line environment within Linen Services.

This post will be working as part of the preoperative team based across two sites. The role is on a busy unit and the expectation is that a uniform will be worn. This role is front of house and key person to the patient, representing the department.

You will provide high quality admin and clerical support in the form of booking patients into the unit using hospital systems and ensuring adequate clinic preparation to ensure the smooth running of the unit.

You will have the ability to use initiative and judgement in dealing with enquiries and situations. You will use your ability to exercise judgement and initiative when dealing with urgent enquiries and knowing when to escalate.

You will liaise closely with our nursing and administrative teams and attend morning meetings to hand over any pertinent information in relation to the expected clinic activity for the day.

Print clinic lists from Careflow/patient systems in advance of clinic date and highlight any issues, working with the clinical and administrative teams to support these. Clinic preparation is the responsibility of the receptionist, including organisation of transport solutions.

Greet patients at reception, check their personal details are correct and if necessary, amend in Careflow/patient systems accordingly, ensuring patient confidentiality and accuracy.

Ensure all clinic outcomes are recorded accurately within one working day and escalate any issues with follow up bookings to the admin team, including DNAs.

Receive and respond to enquiries from relatives/external agencies adhering to Trust confidentiality guidelines at all times.

Maintain tidy, safe working environment, reporting any hazards or faults timely and appropriately.

Present a professional, polite and courteous attitude at all times and be appropriately dressed when on duty.

Able to travel across both sites to cover when necessary.

We are looking for Clinical Psychologists or final year Trainee Clinical Psychologists with an interest in clinical health psychology and the impact of living with health conditions. You may have experience of working with physical health problems with either children/families or adults, or experience of working in child and adolescent or adult mental health services with a keen interest and desire to apply that knowledge to work in an acute trust.

An interesting and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Upper GI team at Nottingham University hospitals as a Cancer Care Co-ordinator.

As the Cancer Care Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping with the delivery of cancer targets for the trust by ensuring that the journey of each cancer patient runs smoothly and is progressed in a seamless and timely manner.

To support the Upper GI CNS team in delivering a high standard of support to patients with cancer. This will involve being in daily contact with patients where needed. The post-holder will be expected to support and signpost patients over the telephone and progress their care pathway in liaison with other colleagues and departments in the hospital. The post-holder will also be expected to be involved with Audit and Peer Review processes.

The post holder will need to be flexible and self-motivated with a good attention to detail and the initiative to work independently as well as a team. This post is key in providing high quality information and ensuring patient’s progress effectively on the cancer pathway.

The post holder will work closely with staff across the wider trust including clinicians, general managers, deputy managers, nurses, secretaries and other administrative staff.

They will support Direct To Test (DTT) pathways, managing the results spreadsheet and supporting the DSM/SM to meet our FDS target every month.

The post holder will be expected to type CNS clinic letter, declined procedure letters (supporting FDS) and review/action CNS clinic notes to ensure actions are completed.

Digital Services comprises a multidisciplinary team of professional staff concerned with providing a wide range of services in information, knowledge management; computing and telecommunications many of these are large multi-user systems, with many interfaced together.

The End User Computing Team comprises several permanent support staff on multiple sites whose priority is to provide 2nd line desktop support to the NUH staff by the management of the call management system.
