As a member of the CGH care team, you will work closely with nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to patients. You will perform basic nursing care activities for patients and assist in ward administrative functions to facilitate smooth operations in inpatient care, but not limited to the following areas:

Patient Care
• Record vital signs, assist in wound dressing, perform blood glucose testing and specimens collection, assist patients with general hygiene and in other nursing procedures as required

Job Requirements
• Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Levels
• Prior working experience as a paramedic or in a ward setting will be advantageous
• Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people at all levels effectively
• Independent, highly organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Registration & Admission

· Perform accurate registration for Emergency Department patients

· Manage billing for patients including payment & deposit collection

· Conduct financial counselling for patients / next-of-kin (NOK) who require admission to the hospital

· Assist patients / NOK / general public on general enquiries over the counter or through telephone

· Any other duties assigned from time to time

Bed Management

· Perform bed reservation for patients who require admission which includes bed search and assignment according to department protocol and policy.

· Monitor and manage the bed waiting time for patients in order to meet the department’s Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

· Liaise with clinicians and inpatient nursing for bed related matters

· Generate daily report and information for dissemination to the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

· GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any relevant discipline

· 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare industry

The incumbent is responsible for recruitment of seniors into the programme and may be required to conduct home visits or events.

He/she will also be required to provide telecare support and assistance to clients arising from incoming calls into the Contact Centre. He/she will also need to make outgoing care calls to clients to strengthen the care relationship with the clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide information, engaging and recruiting seniors into CareLine program
• Provide advice/information to all clients' enquiries regarding department services
• Engage with community partners for the CareLine program
• Ensure client’s satisfaction and team objectives are achieved
• Ensure all administration work/information collected is accurate

Requirement:

• GCE N Level and above
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or elder care will be advantageous
• Passionate in outreach work to serve and care for seniors
• Communication proficiency in 2 or more language/dialects will be advantageous
• Able to work independently
