In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Deliver a first-class service to our customers across, automotive, mining, marine and power generation. Complete repairs and maintenance of Cummins On Hwy and HHP products and you will attend to breakdowns in the field, as well as service our marine customers both on and off shore. Diagnose and repair various gen sets across our industrial and power station customers. Engine rebuilding and reconditioning Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Field Service Supervisor Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens. To be successful in this role you will need the following: Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards) Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy equipment / engines in field service. Cummins experience is highly preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of repair and service work, including fault diagnostics and repair, component rebuilds, mid-life overhauls, road transport repairs, fixed and mobile plant scheduled maintenance, as well as maintenance of the workshop and stores. Additionally, you will have the chance to accompany a tradesman in the field for field service work. The ideal candidate for this position is punctual, a confident communicator, trustworthy, reliable, and safety-conscious. It would be beneficial to have a manual driver’s licence and your own means of transportation to and from the depot. By completing a 4-year apprenticeship with us, you will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle any task and work anywhere in the world with confidence as a technician, no matter the task at hand.
