Due to expansion within their London Real Estate team a position for a Property Account Handler has arisen to handle Residential Property business.
Your new role
Your new role working as a Senior Property Owners Account Handler means you will be responsible maintaining their client's Residential Property Insurance portfolio, providing a high quality, professional and efficient service. Dealing with clients from inception to completion you will be responsible for collating general and claims information, documentation for pre renewal and renewal meetings as well as manage the renewal/placing process in a timely manner. Highlight any potential risks and agreeing terms in line with client requirements including any mid term alterations, ensuring accurate recording of information on Acturis. Other duties will include working closely with underwriters and preparing all documentation as well as delivering great customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients, ensuring excellent service standards are always met.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Property Account handler handling Real Estate/ Property Owners from inception to will contribute to your success and ideally having experience in Residential Property. Ideally, you will be CERT CII qualified or have progression towards Dip CII. You will have excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to develop and manage good working relationships with clients and insurers through building trust and mutual respect. You will provide great customer service by responding promptly to enquiries and concerns from clients and have outstanding industry and sector knowledge. Ideally, you will have some experience with Acturis.

Location: Glasgow West End
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000

Due to a recent growth I currently have an opening for a Property Manager with a well-established property factor based in the West End of Glasgow. You will be part of a supportive team always looking to further develop and improve their staff.

This is a very varied role that requires an individual who is resilient and capable of managing a diverse portfolio. This role is based entirely on site, Mon - Fri 9:00 - 5:00 (flexibility available)

The key responsibilities within this role are:
* Oversee maintenance of properties: PPM, reactive and day to day
* Annual site inspections
* AGM and owner's meetings
* Ensure company policies and procedures
* Build and maintain relationships with customer, clients and contractor
* Assist with project management works
* Processing of sales and insurance claims
* Dealing with queries
* Maintain accurate and up to date records
* Site visits to properties
* Keep residents well informed

A successful candidate in this position will possess;
* Valid UK Driving License
* Proven experience in a factoring role
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player with the ability to work independently and manage own workload
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
* Ability to meet targets and perform well under pressure

A client within the private sector based in Lancashire is currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a construction environment.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to assist in the provision of quantity surveying services under the direction of the Directors and senior staff.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Comply with the clients internal quality assurance management procedures and governance;
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, undertake interim valuations, cost reports and value for money reports;
• Preparation of interim valuations, contract instructions and final accounts;
• Contract administration and cost control;
• Tender document preparation; Tender reporting;

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to be educated to a to NVQ Level 4 in a construction related discipline as well as a minimum of 2 years' experience for a construction related organisation.

It will be essential to be in experiences in the below:

• Experience of developing and managing contracts;
• Proven track record of assisting in a high quality, high volume customer led service;
• Demonstrate competence in a housing or technical construction discipline;

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between up to £30,000 p/a.

Your new role
* Valuation of residential properties, including portfolios
* Valuation of commercial properties including portfolios to include those within the alternatives sector
* Valuation of land (residential/commercial/mixed-use) to include the provision of development appraisals where applicable
* Acquisition surveys for commercial and residential properties
* Take accurate measurements of sites and properties in accordance with the RICS Code of Measuring Practice
* Record file notes in a format acceptable to PII insurers and corporate customers including photographs of the subject property, floor plans and other matters as necessary
* Value properties by applying expert knowledge and awareness of the local property markets
* Independent preparation of detailed valuation reports for purposes such as secured lending, taxation, pension funds and accounting
* Ability to delegate work where appropriate and to provide professional support including APC guidance to more junior team members
* Preparation of valuation reports within agreed timescales and in compliance with client SLA's
* Diligently handle all instructions and to maintain comprehensive records for all work undertaken
* Undertake peer reviews of valuation reports prepared by other members of the team
* Supported and encouraged to cultivate own sustainable pipeline of work and income stream
* Represent the team at internal and external meetings and events

What you'll need to succeed
* MRICS qualified and RICS Registered Valuer status essential
* Full UK driving license
