You Have:  

• 7+ years of experience with the configuration and design of cloud environments and tools  

• Experience developing cost management and optimization recommendations for client organizations using frameworks like the AWS or Azure Well Architected Framework 

• Experience defining secure-based cloud architecture while adhering to development methodologies, engineering, and cloud standards  

• Experience providing detailed guidance to engineering team members creating in and operating cloud environments 

• Experience developing, deploying, and troubleshooting IaaS environments and integrations with SaaS and PaaS solutions

With extensive experience with Azure / AWS cloud services, this role will support short- and medium-term business and technology cloud initiatives, with focus on the Bank's 3-to-5-year cloud technology roadmap, facilitating innovation and adoption of next-generation technologies. 

You will lead architecture, design, and development of end-to-end cloud-based solutions with a heavy focus on application and data and a good understanding of infrastructure. • Identify and Analyze Cloud Infrastructure architecture gaps to propose new technologies. Establish pilots and POCs for proposed solutions and make recommendations for approvals.

• Document best practices and recommendations and create and maintain templates

• Drive meetings with subject matter experts from all areas of the business including infrastructure, operations, applications, vendors and leads to seek input from and plan/coordinate migrations, resources requirements and timelines.

• Proven ability to maintain both a strategic long-term outlook and enterprise perspective, while also supporting tangible, business driven, and IT delivered solutions.

The Department of Art and Art History at Carleton College (Northfield, MN) invites applications for a visiting faculty position in art history for 2024-2025 at the rank of assistant professor or instructor.  This position involves teaching four courses spread over two or three 10-week terms, including one-half of the introductory survey of art history, plus a mix of introductory and advanced courses, to be selected based on the successful applicant’s interests and specialization.

Candidates with any specialty in art history outside of the European tradition are encouraged to apply. The Department is particularly interested in candidates whose research expertise is in the subfields of African, Latin American, Indigenous, South Asian, or Islamic art. The qualified candidate will join an interdisciplinary faculty and contribute to our curriculum by developing and teaching one-half of a global survey of the history of art and three courses across different levels in the candidate’s area of specialization. You Have:

• 10+ years of experience designing and developing solutions in a functional or technical area, and architecting overall systems using prototyping and proof of concepts 
• Experience planning, managing, and providing technical oversight for software architecture activities 
• Experience comprehending customer’s business requirements and translating them into cost-effective software strategies, frameworks, and architectures 
• Experience building integrated viewpoints to evolve a technical domain, including software development, digital experience, data, analytics, AI, infrastructure, computers, networking, or cybersecurity 
• Experience with IT architectural analysis, evaluation, documentation, modeling design, development, model validation, and integration  
• Experience integrating workstreams to achieve results across Data Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, DevSecOps, and security and privacy 
• Experience working in CSP environments, including AWS, and hybrid cloud environments 
• Ability to address complex software architecture challenges, including the evaluation of technologies, architectural patterns, architectural modeling, architectural views, component specification, and design principles 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor’s degree

Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

• Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in Art, or a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in Art;
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written;
• Proven teaching skills with the ability to convey basic concepts and theories in a practical and comprehensible way;
• Ability to recognize and to respond to students from culturally diverse backgrounds as well as the willingness to make students active partners in the teaching/learning process;
• Computer literacy and experience using computers in classroom with a willingness to apply technology and innovative approaches to the teaching of specific discipline. 
• Experience with online instruction

Preferred:

• Doctorate from a regionally accredited institution in Art;
• Two to five years teaching experience in a post-secondary institution;

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

This position requires an ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time and to present oral lectures/demonstrations, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds. Some lifting of computer and electronic equipment may be required.  It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, calculator, telephone, and other equipment as necessary.  IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
