This position is located within the Division of Facility Management at Everglades National Park and is duty stationed at park headquarters in Homestead Florida. The Supervisory Interdisciplinary (Branch Chief Design and Construction) is responsible for, and has authority to, initiate, establish, guide, and control a broad range of project planning, design and construction efforts from inception through completion.

• Supervises an interdisciplinary staff of professional designers (engineers/architects/landscape architects) and project managers to accomplish this work within Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Parks.
• Reviews and manages the Facility Management Division's annual operating budget and project budgets, adjusting account allocations over time throughout the fiscal year. Accommodates provisions for adequate staffing, completion of routine administrative work, purchase of supplies and materials, employee training and travel, AE management, and execution of specially funded projects within respective operating funds and project budgets.
• Serves as the park's Facility Management Division lead contracting officer's representative (COR). Requests funding clearance for contract modifications from WASO/Region or other authority as appropriate. Coordinates review of submittals and word of on-sight inspector, Oversees project closure (closeout: post occupancy, warranty review, as built).
• Leads and manages the park's environmental management system and maintains up to date, accurate records of the park's environmental liabilities.
• Responsible for the on-the-job safety and health of all employees supervised. Initiates efforts conforming to established local and bureau safety programs to satisfy this responsibility.

• Serves as the Fire Management Officer Directing all phases of the assigned fire program unit to include fire management planning, aviation management, training and workforce planning, fire preparedness, fuels management and fire prevention, dispatching, suppression, post-suppression, and all hazard and emergency response activities.
• Performs/supervises administrative program management functions such as planning; budget formulation and execution; stewardship of physical facilities, equipment, vehicles, and accountable property; development and implementation of training and development programs; and implementation of cooperative agreements.

Title:

KBR is seeking a Project Manager for Instructional Systems Design (ISD) work supporting a government client in Orlando, FL. You will lead a team supporting analysis, curriculum design, and courseware development for trainers and simulators for surface vessels such as Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) and Frigates, equipment which interfaces with surface vessels, multi-platform systems, and potentially other Department of Defense (DoD) platforms or weapon systems. Your team will be part of and coordinate with a broader team which provides engineering, logistics management, and ISD support to DoD organizations developing trainers and simulators for military aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, naval surface vessels, and unmanned/semi-autonomous watercraft.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Visits to the government client facilities in Orlando, FL may be required multiple times per month.

• Travel to various client sites is expected approximately 8 times per year.

• Most duties may be performed remotely, but occasional in-person meetings with government clients and the team will be encouraged to strengthen relationships.

• Comfort managing a diverse team that includes local and remote personnel

 Works independently to travel to locations and work with teams onsite to coordinate photo shoots.  Ensures that all necessary photos are clear and have appropriate lighting.

As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for U.S. Strategic Command.  

As a data architect on our team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for the organization’s data strategy, data governance, and data infrastructure. You’ll resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches, analyzing data architecture needs, and working with project client senior staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments.

In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and use tools and programming languages to design database structure and assess data models, data warehouse applications, and business intelligence reports. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met, and solutions are delivered.

You Have:   

• 5+ years of experience with Cloud-based data platforms
• Experience with data modeling, design, and implementation, and system administration
• Experience developing high-performance database applications and enterprise solutions
• Experience analyzing and transforming data requirements into functional business reports with the use of Business Intelligence tools, including Python and SQL
• Ability to assess, design, and implement internal organization process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability  
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree in CS

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience designing data pipeline architecture for data ingestion into Big Data and multi-Cloud platforms
• Experience with containerization using tools such as Docker 
• Knowledge of Agile management processes
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
