• To register students, accompany them to assemblies, encourage their full attendance at all lessons and their participation in other aspects of school life.
• To alert appropriate staff to problems experienced by students and make recommendations as to how these may be resolved.

Other job requirements:

• The teacher will be part of the school’s performance management system and will have a team leader who will set agreed objectives for the year. The team leader will monitor and review performance including classroom teaching.
• The school will support the continuing professional development of all staff, to ensure that their expertise is being kept up to date and that they are professionally fulfilled in their roles.
• Liaise with the Curriculum Leader to ensure the implementation of department policy and practice.
• Support other teachers with the delivery of an appropriate, challenging curriculum that fulfils the National Curriculum providing opportunities for student progression.

Role Title: Service Design and Transition Manager
Duration: contract to run until 30/04/2025
Location: Remote with occasional site visits in London
Rate: £630 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Role purpose / summary

• We are looking for individuals with a background in Service Management, and experience of successful Service Design and Transition.
• SDTMs will design and document new services. They will ensure that service design principles and standards are embedded into projects, and that comprehensive support arrangements are put in place.
• SDTMs will produce comprehensive service designs, incorporating business requirements, wider standards, Enterprise Services capabilities, and external suppliers.
• SDTMs will ensure that projects transition to live service in a safe and structured manner, engaging with project teams and Enterprise Services teams.
• SDTMs will be part of the Home Offices Service Architecture practice and will contribute to the definition of standards and continual service improvement.

Key Skills/ requirements

They will design and transition services that:

* Support business needs.
* Reuse existing service components.
* Are proportionate and affordable.
* Effectively span multiple suppliers, platforms, and support arrangements.

Skills and Experience:

* Experience of successful Service Design and Transition.
* Experience in ITIL aligned Service Management.
* Setting expectations and managing stakeholders, both internal and external.
* Experience in onboarding third party suppliers.
* Experience of Service Design and Transition in Medium to Large Organisations.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have an ITIL Foundation qualification and at least 2 of the Intermediate ITIL Modules, ideally Service Design and Service Transition.
