The ability to read and produce 2D production drawings applying GD&T where necessary.

Problem solving and trouble shooting ability.

Ideally possess an Engineering Degree, Minimum HNC

In this position you will be a key contributor to exciting R&D projects related to next generation product development for our FreeStyle Libre platform of sensor systems.

We are looking for a candidate with strong programming and technical skills, who will excel in a matrixed environment working with algorithm development engineers that synthesize new algorithms and software developers that implement them. This person should ideally be experienced in the process of architecting and writing algorithm simulation code that works with input data formats to emulate candidate algorithm implementations used for the FreeStyle Libre platform of sensor systems, with good understanding of numerical processes utilizing the mathematical models, and extensive experience with software architecture and development.  Experience in working with an existing code system in Matlab is a highly relevant background for this position. The candidate will utilize knowledge of numerical methods, mathematics, software architecture, and data analysis in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.  Results are expected to drive product development and clinical insights.

What you’ll work on

• This position will be responsible for participating in the development of new products.
• Responsible for designing scalability and future proofing of the algorithm synthesis tools, especially for sensor algorithm development written in Matlab.
• Participates in system level design documentation and requirements specification.
• Provides specialized functions such as code architecture design improvements and phased implementation, development of numerical simulation modules, data parsing and auditing tool development, and numerical process methodology. 
• Develops working relationships with cross functional groups and senior/executive management.
• Work with an existing algorithm synthesis tool to architect and implement phased changes that improve scalability and future proofing of the tool.
• Identify and propose run time efficiency improvements, batch scalability improvements, file format handling improvements, and streamline analysis process.
• Participate in algorithm development synthesis incorporating mathematical models and in optimizing design processes.
• Responsible for managing data source organization and handling of development and test sets. Participate in product definition, system architecture, requirements writing, requirements management, requirements analysis, risk analysis, hazard analysis, product test and evaluation, System V & V, and/or design control documentation.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and document test results.
• Participate in integration of analytical and performance related elements with software, hardware, and electronics system components.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, with theoretical and practical programming knowledge in Matlab working on a common tool for multiple projects. 
• 5 years software development and software architecture design experience.
• Experience credit for advanced degrees beyond Bachelors degree  related to architecture, development, and implementation of software.
• Able to effectively communicate and convey research discoveries into product development.  Knowledge in real-time filter design (e.g. FIR, state observer, analog filters) or mathematical modeling of dynamic systems, preferably biological systems are a plus.
• Preferable to have working knowledge of diabetes disease state (both Type 1 and Type 2) as well as current methods of disease management. 
• Solid knowledge of general engineering/science principles.
• Experience in implementing real-time signal processing algorithm.

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record working with and improving Matlab code environment as a common tool for multiple projects
• Experience developing production-level software from both a code and architecture perspective
•  Experience in medical device space; ideally within diabetes or metabolic disease

• Perform detailed mechanical design of Manufacturing fixtures and assembly aids

• Perform part to CAD analysis of injection molded components to determine deviation of as built condition.

• Update 3D injection molded component designs to resolve non-parametric features.

• Interface with internal customers to provide mechanical design support for manufacturing and testing equipment

Position Overview

The Senior Business architecture manager for ACS will reimagine business insights, forecasting, planning, and business performance management processes within our Go-to-Market Finance organization to focus on the most important insights, simplify workflows, and take advantage of the latest technologies. 

In addition, this role will deliver high-quality data products to enable these reimagined processes, both by building data tools directly and by influencing data engineering teams to build the right infrastructure.

This role focuses on ACS and other M&A businesses which have finance data and processes that need to be integrated into our core business processes. Understanding the business models and trends within ACS is key to informing our overall strategy and enabling us to drive the business at scale.

This role will also likely support other GTM finance teams and topics. We are a small team working to transform how finance data is used across Autodesk, so flexibility and adaptability are essential. We must coordinate our efforts both within our team and across the teams that support us, take on different projects as business needs change, and constantly manage scope vs. time tradeoffs to ensure we are delivering the most impactful results. 

Responsibilities

• Partnering with GTM finance teams to understand their planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management needs

• Building processes and data structures to help integrate data and finance processes from M&A businesses 

• Reimagining processes, data structures, and dashboards for simplicity, agility, and adaptability to keep up with GTM innovation

• Owning the delivery of end-to-end data products (pipelines, tables, and dashboards) to enable reporting and analytics that are automated, flexible, scalable, and action-oriented

• This will involve building and testing prototype data products yourself while partnering with corporate data engineering teams to build long-term solutions

• Identifying actionable insights that can target and improve Autodesk’s go-to-market efforts and inform the development of new products and business models

• Integrating your efforts into company-wide forecasting and planning processes and into the broader Business Architecture-led buildout of GTM Finance data

• Adapting state-of-the-art analytical and predictive tools for use in our forecasting and planning processes (once the appropriate data foundations have been built)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in analytical fields such as consulting, strategic finance, BizOps, data science, business intelligence, data engineering, and/or IB/VC/PE

• Experience with SQL and large datasets

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.

• Experience with product management frameworks and process design

• Strong abilities in project management, change management, and cross-functional influence

• A good listener and communicator with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in client-facing consulting and 2+ years in a technical analytics role

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Javascript

• Experience building and deploying predictive models to forecast key metrics

• Experience designing an optimal decision support process, defining a product strategy to enable it, translating into a roadmap, and enabling it through technology

• Domain experience in FP&A and / or sales, marketing, and customer success operations

The primary focus will be digitally rendering 3D concepts that surpass traditional limits. You will have the freedom to use advanced methods to explore new ideas that sha­pe the future of these iconic brands. Our mission is to dream, hypothesize, and actualize advanced concepts.

Essential Job Functions:

• Developing conceptual storyboarding, creating still 3D imagery, and 3D animations via Blender and Unreal Engine 5 applications.
• Responsible for creating 3D still and animated visual assets for NS6 advanced design proposals.
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative, multiple projects, creative environment with a high level of responsibility for each designer.
• Strong understanding of advanced design methodologies and the ability to integrate them into practical design solutions.
• Great interest and/or knowledge of Artificial intelligence software/trends, 3D rendering softwares.

• Strong visual communication skills via 2D & 3D sketching, great story telling skills, strong sense of 3D space, adventurous to find new design communication methods and ambitious to innovate design.
