We are recruiting a Senior Support Worker who has experience of working with people with dementia for our day service in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Tameside.

We are recruiting for a full time position (37.5hr). In addition to the day centre, we provide support for up to 8 people a day to access activities within the local community.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner to work in a person-centred way with older people and people with dementia in Tameside. Your role will include:
• Providing respectful personal care, practical and emotional support to older people
• Supporting service users to retain their independence for as long as possible
• Identifying and providing opportunities with service users to support them to lead meaningful and fulfilling lifestyles

Hours

A flexible, blended approach to home and office working is in place for the team, but you must be willing and able to travel to client offices locally and internationally as and when required.

The Intensive Support Service has been developed to provide a bespoke adapted supported living services in the Bury /Heywood area of Greater Manchester to adults over the age of 18 with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs and forensic histories.

The service will operate 24/7 using a trauma informed and case management model of care to move three adults out of long stay institutions into their own home in the community. We are looking for a competent and caring individual who is flexible and interested in carrying out a diverse and rewarding role as a Personal assistant to the Executive team at our head office in Stockport. You will work proactively with the senior management team in order to task are completed to a high standard.

The successful post holder will have a proven experience in administration and preferably has some experience of the social care sector. You will be an excellent communicator verbally and in writing and have a high level of IT skill. You would be working within a busy and diverse head office team.

The post holder must be able to plan and prioritise a varied workload, exercising appropriate judgement and responding promptly and appropriately to all enquiries. The post holder will be required to handle information of a confidential nature and must observe the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality. The post holder will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise professionally with service users, staff and external stakeholders.

You will also form part of the Head office PA team. The spirit of the PA department is very much a team approach with a diverse and interesting workload. A high degree of flexibility will be required to deputise for colleagues in their absence and support with peaks in workload. Several of the PA also have specialise lead in areas of the business, which will be considered for this post as it develops. The role is progressive and diverse. Some evening working required to facilitate board of trustee sub committees, these are planned well in advance.

Service Lead - Service Design and Transition
£45,200 to £52,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)
Manchester city centre (hybrid working)

We're looking for a Service Lead to join us in Manchester to play a key part in our service design and transition agenda across Co-op. In this role you'll work in a hybrid way - splitting your time between home and the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy).

As a Service Lead at Co-op, you'll collaborate closely with our Delivery and Project Managers right from the start of projects. We'll also look to you to design the service wrapper, end-to-end. No matter which projects you're working on, it'll be up to you to engage the right colleagues, at the right time, to set our service up for success in the future.

What you'll do

• Play a key role in our project teams, and be accountable for all things 'service'
• Take ownership of our documentation production (including supporting and operating documents)
• Design the support model and make use of platforms such as Visio
• Build and maintain positive relationships with our third-party suppliers
• Work closely with our Service Analysts, coordinating work and managing resource as necessary
• Regularly attend PMO meetings, taking ownership for key areas and communicating information to the wider team

This role would suit people who have

• Experience in service transition, with a background in IT service management
• Experience working in a project environment
• Some knowledge of ITIL at foundation level
• The ability to use Microsoft applications (e.g. Visio) to collate and present information
• Good communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working with third-party suppliers

We are looking to recruit a new Head of Customer Experience and Safeguarding to work within established team and closely with the Executive team to ensure a robust and bespoke approach to Customer Care management and promote a range of initiatives that engage customer views and opinions in order to inform good quality services. Directors and senior management team ensure quality oversight and follow up as required across our range of services and customers. The Head of Customer Experience and Safeguarding will work strategically alongside the Quality Department and report to the Board quality subcommittee with regular attendance at executive meetings.

You will carry out on site investigations nationally when required and support outcomes for more complex complaints or safeguarding investigations. You will ensure there is appropriate debrief action based learning and develop good practice directives and develop. You will ensure we look at the holistic feedback and have a key focus on learning also from positive feedback and compliments.

The successful post holder will have excellent experience of social care management at a senior level. They will be a competent, organised and informed manager with a solid knowledge of safeguarding processes. We require a firm commitment to Customer engagement and complaint management to achieve strong outcomes. Excellent report writing skills and verbal and written communication is essential.
