• Provide subject matter expertise using best practices for designing cloud solutions and migration of existing systems to the cloud within cross-functional, agile teams

• Develop and implement ways to move applications and workloads to the cloud

• Work closely with application and system owners to understand solution requirements and identify architectural patterns

• Monitor compliance of cloud resources to ensure they fit industry guardrails and best practices

• Research and propose solutions for Azure data transformation, data connections, operational frameworks, and application integration

• Work closely with other architects and engineers to create and maintain architectural templates build templates, and operational templates

• Lead the cloud architecture design for Azure to meet clients’ technical, security, and business needs

• Configure cloud systems for high availability and scalability

• Consult, run proofs of concepts, and advise the best use of Azure services to solve current challenges

• Develop and maintain software solutions/scripts to support automation of cloud configuration and administration to develop desired state configuration for the department’s Azure Cloud Platform

• Support security audits, accreditation, and certification processes, and obtaining authority to operate (ATO) for cloud-based system architectures

• Extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into Azure data storage solutions such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, or Azure Synapse Analytics

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other relevant Azure technologies

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Must have an Active Secret or higher security clearance

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field with 5+ years of related experience

• Strong experience in data extract transform load (ETL) processes using Azure services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, or Azure Synapse Analytics

• One or more of the following certifications are required:

  - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator – Associate

  - Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer – Associate

  - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect - Expert

  - Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer - Expert

• 8+ years’ experience and skill writing coding languages (such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, and Java Scripts)

• 3+ years’ experience working with projects involving machine learning, natural language processing, robotics process automation, artificial intelligence, text and/or data mining, as well as statistical and mathematical methods

• Experience with using SQL to conduct complex database queries

• Experience with AI/ML

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of experience working within the DoD or IC Community

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, CS, or Data Analytics

What You’ll Get to Do:

In this role the Enterprise Network Architect/Engineering Lead will be responsible for: 

• Perform in-depth and complex engineering involving all aspects of the network including core, distribution edge, border, Layer 3/2 routing and switching

• Interact with and report architecture problems with lead engineers, including determining future bandwidth needs, conducting redundancy planning, and adopting infrastructure configurations according to vendor and industry best practices and standards to meet the business needs of the client

• Produces multiple design views for various usage levels including technical, architectural, business, operational, maintenance and others

• Provide support for implementing routing and switching protocols.

• Develops solutions based on alternative analysis including detailed assessments against technical, cost, operational, security and business requirements to baseline enterprise network

• Support implementation of routing and switching protocols

• Assess, interpret and translate customers objectives, goals, intents, requirements, standards into enterprise objectives/requirements to design solutions for enteprise communication services

• Create/establish and maintain enterprise network design and architecture baselines

• Ensure designs comply with applicable DOD, IC, and International Partner interoperability/compatibility standards, system plans and security requirements

• Isolate and perform root-cause analysis to determine infrastructure design improvements and enhancements, software bugs and documenting necessary workarounds

• Apply architectural knowledge to network diagrams, wiring, and cyber infrastructure documentation, processes, and procedures and suggesting improvements, as needed

• Architect and transition large scale internet protocol (IP) services for an enterprise suppoting various Layers, networks, BGP MPLS, SDNDHCP, NTP, and PTP

• Expertise in Commercial Cloud Services (C2S) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Manages large projects

• Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II, CCIE Routing & Switching (R&S) (or Industry Equivalent)

• TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI poly
