Job Description

The USTP is seeking an attorney experienced in litigation practice and bankruptcy law to oversee bankruptcy cases filed in the federal judicial districts covered by the Region and/or field office. This oversight would include litigating enforcement matters on behalf of the Program, overseeing private trustees, handling appellate matters, and referring criminal conduct identified in connection with bankruptcy cases. The Program seeks to hire talented Trial Attorneys and provide them with frequent and meaningful court experience on a variety of issues arising in bankruptcy cases.

The typical duties of a field office Trial Attorney include:

• Oversee the administration of bankruptcy cases filed in the judicial districts served by the Region and the field office;
• Litigate issues arising in chapter 11 proceedings, including those involving corporate governance, and issues arising in employment applications, fee applications, disclosure statements, and plan confirmation matters;
• Litigate civil enforcement matters arising in consumer bankruptcy cases, including discharge objections, dismissal proceedings involving debtors' ability to repay creditors, attorney misconduct matters, and non-attorney document preparation servicer misconduct;
• Assist with appellate matters arising in the Region and district;
• Partner with the Executive Office and the United States Trustee on issues of national importance to enhance the Program's mission locally, and to help develop and implement policies and strategies designed to faithfully execute a uniform application of bankruptcy law;
• Supervise private trustees in the Region who administer bankruptcy cases filed under chapters 7, 13, 11, Subchapter V, and 12 of the Bankruptcy Code;
• Work with Program bankruptcy Auditors, Paralegals Specialists, and support staff in the Region;
• Work with the Program's federal and state law enforcement partners to report criminal activity identified through bankruptcy case oversight;
• Provide outreach to interested constituents and those involved in the bankruptcy system, such as the bankruptcy court, the bar, and other federal and state agencies; and
• Work on other national projects and priorities, as assigned.

Major Duties

• Performs a variety of tasks involved with installing, modifying, troubleshooting and repairing new and existing systems, including, but not limited to: condensers, chillers, air handlers, compressed air, humidifying, dehumidifying, filtering, refrigerators, freezers and computer based Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS).
• Maintains, repairs and installs new and existing plumbing systems, to include, but not limited to: high/ low pressure piping, sanitary sewer, steam heat, steam generation, circulating, vacuum, and condensate pumps, expansion tanks, radiators, lavatories, commodes, and water heaters.
• Works from building plans, blueprints and sketches to plan and layout routing of piping, vents, wiring, refrigeration lines, ductwork and valves.

Skills and Knowledge

• Reads and interprets blueprints and wiring diagrams relative to the assigned equipment and utility systems. He/she must be able to read and understand technical manuals and instructions on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, as well as pumps, valves, gas and oil fired boilers and furnaces.
• Estimates cost, both labor and material, and prepare lists of materials for the completion on any job to be done
• Uses hand and power tools, to include, but not limited to: multi-meters, diagnostic equipment, air velocity meters, flue gas analyzer, grinders, pipe threading machine, pipe cutter, Oxy-Acetylene torch, refrigeration gauges, and motorized drain cleaner.
• Troubleshoots, calibrates, balances and operates central heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and steam systems and their associated equipment and controls within the facility.
• At a minimum, possesses a Universal Technician certification in accordance with 40 CFR part 82, subpart F, as well as a Gas Fitters License.
• Creates leak-free joints in piping and tubing systems by using the appropriate method, to include, but not limited to: solder, silver solder, Teflon sealant, and compression fittings.
• Possesses the knowledge of electrical wiring and related components of pumps, air handlers, chillers, water heaters, exhaust fans, electronic valves, etc. and be able to troubleshoot, repair and/or install such items.

Responsibility

• Confers with the Maintenance Scheduler and/or the M&R Operations Supervisor regarding his findings relative to maintenance and repairs to utility systems and equipment and helps plan and coordinate the repair of any issues.
• Knows codes and regulations pertaining to the practice of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and steam. Plumbing includes but is not limited to domestic water, heating/cooling piping, natural gas/propane, compressed air, sanitary drain piping.
• Plans his/her work in compliance with the prescribed standards of quality and quantity in accordance with established policy, codes, and regulations.
• Performs maintenance of all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, including changing oil, replacing gaskets, replacing defective lines and/or valves including expansion valves, back pressure valves, water control valves, pressure regulators, compressors, receivers, condensers, evaporators, and automatic controls.
• Performs maintenance, repair, and installation on, but not limited to the following dietetic equipment: reach-in and walk-in refrigerators/freezers and all related components, ice making machines, hot-cold food carts, and lowerators.
• Maintains, repairs and modifies compressed air systems (excluding Medical Air) throughout the facility to ensure proper operation, pressure and filtration.
• Performs maintenance and repair, extensions and alterations to all piping, fixtures, appliances and appurtenances in connection with any of the following: sanitary drainage or storm drainage facilities; the venting systems; the water supply system; gas distribution within or adjacent to buildings, structures or conveyance and throughout the grounds of the medical center.
• Installs and maintains all types of equipment such as lavatories, commodes, showers, and dietetic equipment, hot water heaters, boilers, radiators, pressure regulating valves, sprinkler systems, sterilizers, steam traps, back-flow preventers, and all thermostatic equipment.
• Makes preventive maintenance inspections of all steam, water, and gas lines, and on fixtures and appliances, relative to those portions of utility systems.
• Performs the following related tasks in connection with said duties: pipe covering, welding, brazing, sheet metal work and minor electrical work such as controls on pumps and HV AC equipment, chrono-flow and motorized valves, vacuum pumps and pneumatic systems and piping or plumbing related to x-ray and dental equipment.
• Follows all Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures as required by OSHA and VA regulations.

(1) Performs limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles. Assists higher graded mechanics in the repair and/or overhaul of major systems to include internal combustion engines, turbine engines, automatic and non-automatic transmissions, heavy duty drive line systems, and hydraulic utility systems and controls. Makes routine repairs that can be accomplished by removing, adjusting, or replacing defective or worn parts and components. Performs work in accordance with technical manuals, lubrication orders, maintenance bulletins, regulations or management policies.
(2) Performs limited diagnoses to determine the cause of mechanical failures by means of visual and auditory checks and/or uses basic test equipment such as compression testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and pressure gauges. Determines when parts should be cleaned, adjusted or replaced with standard parts to complete work orders.

(5) Conducts limited readiness and repair inspections on vehicles and associated equipment supported by the activity. Performs Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) and ensures vehicles and equipment are properly serviced, including brake adjustments, replacing hydraulic fluids, greasing, cleaning, etc. Performs other preventive maintenance operations as required to ensure that equipment is functioning properly.
(6) May perform routine maintenance and limited repairs on basic communication equipment such as radios, field telephones, amplifiers, switchboards, recorders, intercoms by removing and replacing components and elements. Performs minor body and fender, or other metal repairs, using peening hammers, dollies and limited welding. Performs limited repairs and routine maintenance on small arms and accessory equipment by replacing worn or damaged parts. This position is located in the Army National Guard (ARNG) Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (DCSLOG/G4), Distribution Management Division, Plans Policy and Readiness Branch. Its purpose is to develop command logistics guidance and support plans for federal and state missions.

• --Formulates and implements the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements obtained from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations.

The post is for a sub-specialist knee surgeon with an interest in soft tissue and sports injuries with a knee arthroplasty practice. The current working model includes a 1 in 10 rota covering a general trauma intake providing an in-reach and referral service to other Surgical Wards and the Emergency department. There is dedicated daily trauma list capacity for the prompt management of trauma to complement a 24/7 rota, supported by an experienced multi-disciplinary orthopaedic team.

The department has successfully trained and developed their own middle grades to the level of experienced associate specialists. These valuable colleagues supplement those trainees who are allocated from the Yorkshire deanery.



We are seeking a fellowship trained knee arthroplasty and soft tissue knee surgeon to join the current team of specialist knee surgeons (1.5 soft tissue knee specialists and 3.5 revision knee specialists). We run a weekly local arthroplasty MDT, and in the process of developing a hub and spoke MDT system within our local ICT with Hull. We have a wide range of complex cases in the unit including multi ligament reconstructions, peri-prosthetic fractures, infections and cases referred from our local oncology department with metastatic disease about the hip and knee. We are also in the process of overhauling our virtual fracture clinic service and acute knee service, in which the successful candidate will be required to take an active role.

The successful candidate will be given full support in the form of joint Consultant operating for difficult cases, as well as with service development projects, patient safety initiatives and appraisal. This full time post will be based at York Hospital but the post holder will be expected to work on other sites (not more frequently than one day a week) as required. The successful applicant will support the routine biochemistry service including participation in duty biochemist rota, reporting of protein electrophoresis and attendance at MDT meetings, and will be fully supported to progress through FRCPath exams.

Requirements for the role:Qualifications - At least one of the below:

• NVQ Level 2 or higher BTEC/City & Guilds or equivalent in Plumbing/Carpentry
  and joinery.

• Driving licence is essential
• Must be comfortable using technological devices to log jobs.
• On-Call availability
• Desirable to have industry experience
• Ability to work alone and/or as part of a wider team as this role will require you to work cohesively with other Technical Disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance in accordance with Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies, relevant company Technical Guidance, Process and Procedures, Statutory Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice and any applicable aspects of HTMs.
• Deliver Scheduled, Reactive and Remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner (CAFM), helpdesk or Technical Services Supervisor, ensuring that operational standards are always maintained.
• To also support the work that is included in minor works mangers activities.
• Undertake routine repairs or minor works including joinery, painting and decoration, general building works, ground works or general plumbing.
• To maintain effective site log books at all company premises where required, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support the Projects/Construction team and Team Leader in delivering minor capital works to company premises.
• Complete suitable risk assessments prior to undertaking works and undertake works as per instructions within any relevant permit or work plan

Salary: £11.70 - £12.85 per hour

Hours: 07:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday



Your role:



A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Manual Assembly Operator to join our Manufacturing team at our York site.



This role will be responsible for safely and accurately manufacturing pallets/wood products using the tools and equipment
provided. You will ensure that you work at an optimum level to maximise output whilst complying with customer standards and design
specifications as documented in the work orders.



As a Manual Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for efficient bench set ups and ensuring that you have all necessary
information required regarding quality standards and output levels, to enable you to carry out your role correctly and accurately.
You will also need to promptly identify and report any problems with equipment to your line manager.



You will play a key part in the team to undertake all tasks that are delegated to you by the Production Supervisors and Managers
on site and always adhere to our Health and Safety Procedures and Policies to maintain the required high safety standards, which
includes wearing your Personal Protective Equipment when stipulated.



Working effectively with others, you will also have excellent time keeping and attendance record and demonstrate a high level of
Health and Safety awareness. A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail are key to success.
