The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) Primary Care Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is responsible for promoting quality nursing care for Veterans in a primary care setting. The selected APRN will function independently, as guided by their scope of practice commensurate with training, demonstrated expertise, and licensure. The APRN will work collaboratively with other health care providers to manage patient care needs and serves as a liaison throughout the continuum of care between clinical and administrative services and other health care services within the VA and community agencies.
