- and right now we are looking to recruit for a Wedding and Events Manager to join our team. Bisham Abbey is one of Sport England`s National Sports Centres and is home to a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport. Bisham Abbey provides excellent facilities to Britain’s leading sports men and women. Bisham Abbey is also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days.
As the Wedding and Events Manager your role is to plan, coordinate, and execute weddings, conferences, and other special events from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their vision and needs, managing budgets and reaching revenue targets, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing all logistical and operational aspects of events.
Additionally, the role involves managing teams, solving problems on the fly, and maintaining positive relationships with not only clients, but vendors and venues too. It is key to note that role is predominantly Monday – Friday, however weekend flexibility is needed on a shared basis to ensure Wedding & Event coverage.

About you
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have had previous experience in wedding and / or events and it’s desirable that you have management experience. You'll have your finger on the pulse with the latest trends in the marketplace working closely with the team to ensure we deliver the best food, drink and entertainment in the region.
You'll have strong organisational skills and the ability to hit the ground running. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, the desire to make magic happen and have a passion for providing a great service to our customers.
