Critical Care at Salford Care Organisation are expanding with opportunities across our Service which include Critical Care at Bury Care Organisation.
This expansion means an increase in staffing across our Critical Care service at Band 5 level and we are seeking Registered Nurses who are either experienced in Critical Care or new to Critical Care, as well as Newly Qualified Nurses (who have had their extended placement in Critical Care) to join us and our growing multi-disciplinary teams.
Registered Nurses working within our services have progressed to higher band roles within the service including Specialist Nursing roles, Advanced Critical Care Practitioner, Specialist Nursing in Organ Donation and multiple other specialist roles. We are passionate to support and grow our workforce to maximise their potential to benefit Patients, Staff and the wider services.
Our commitment to you
• Experienced nurse leadership to support you and your team when you need it
• Specialist Critical Care Induction & Education Programmes for all new starters and advanced programmes once experienced.
• A Unit based, experienced MDT to provide a fully holistic approach to patient care
• All staff are required (and supported) to undertake a post registration qualification in Critical Care which is accredited by Manchester Metropolitan University at degree or master’s level which is fully funded.
• Flexibility – Full and part time contracts are available within a 12-hour rotational shift pattern (days & Nights) at Salford and a range of shifts covering earlies, lates, twilights and nights at Bury.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC Pin within the next 2-3 months.
Please note an NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
