• As the Contract Management Support Officer in the Resource Management Office at Fort Liberty responsible to assist management in the developing and identifying near and long-range plans to meet service contract requirements.

The incumbent will serve as a Building Management Specialist and perform the full range of Building Management Specialist duties for the Facilities Logistics Support Branch.  Some duties are:

2. Providing a wide variety of support services for the Facility Management Branch including performing health and safety inspections, preparing work statements, developing independent government estimates (IGEs), performing cost analysis and market study and performing technical research in support of facility engineering and management initiatives.
3. Performing quality assurance inspections in conduction with the commercial facility management contracts for operations and maintenance. Prepares quality assurance reports for management summarizing inspection findings.
4. Serving as the alternate Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the Operations and Management Contract. Providing support to the project manager as needed. Develops and implements a cost-effective quality assurance plan; monitors contractor's quality control and performance; plans and oversees the work of on-site contractor personnel; informs the contracting officer of any technical or contractual difficulties encountered; informs the contractor of failures to comply with technical requirements of the contract. This includes attending meetings, giving presentations, meeting with outside contractors, developing statements of work and other facilities related duties.
